This is a good visual alternative to reading the manual, which is helpful for those that prefer not to read a manual. As long as you look at the video that way, it's well done. If you want an in-depth "how to" of any particular feature, it's better to just search for how to accomplish that. He can't give an in-depth explanation of every shooting feature the drone has in a sub 15 minute video.

Hi robb, yes I agree, having owned a phantom4 pro for a few years, I became fed up with the noisy propellors and the sheer clumsy size of it, and felt it was rather dangerous due to its' size here in the UK, then last month I bought the DJI Air2s, and omg, as you say, the improvements in every way. To give you an example, with the phantom 4 pro at say 200 feet high, it was impossible to make out any detail on my t shirt below, and yet with the air 2s, it was easy to see the detail on my t shirt, and even car number plate. Sadly no one wants to buy my old phantom 4 pro anymore, with 3 batteries and great condition - just shows progress eh. take care. Andy (UK)

I have been flying drones for some time. I love to learn about the new featurs that new dornes have. I have now boughtr a AIR 2S. In this short tutorial i am finding it hard to fallow becaue the system is not the same due to Updates. I would like to see a new tutorial about the AIR 2s in the near future. I dont see all of the touch and slid effects that have been shown and would like to know why they are not there or have been moved I am on the newest FW for the controler and Drone. Just got mine and I should have done it earlier but they didn’t have them when I started looking…So glad I waited. I could definitely could spend a lot ,,,,spend ALOT on this drone it dang near flys itself. Got a bunch of cheap 50-70 ones from costco but now I get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong I hate the price but love you get more than you pay for but then if they were cheap everyone would have one and it would block out the sun. I’m OG so I don’t need racer but like just easy fun and it fits perfect but it still appears that this drone can do sporty stuff if I grow into it.

Those are good things to look for in other videos, but that is not the purpose of this video. It's a comprehensive overview of what features exist and how to access them. What you are looking for would best be achieved with many different videos.

So I had my Air2s set to 5.4k @ 25fps. I switched to QuickShot and when I got to editing I realised those shots were all 1080 @ 29.97. Why would it change resolution to a random setting? And a fps different from what it was set?

You can't do quick shots in 5.4k or 4k, kind of like how you can't do any focustrack settings at high frame rate, and 5.4k at 30fps counts as high Fram rate so you can shoot instead at 4k at 30fps

Hello, there. Sorry for any misleading or confusion. The digital zoom factors of the DJI Air 2S camera in each mode are calculated through upsampling by up to 3x. The DJI Air 2S supports zooming up to 8x, but it does not support zooming in or out when shooting 10-bit or 120fps videos. The detailed scale factors in each shooting mode are as follows: (1) When recording a 1080p video at 24 to 30fps, the zoom can range from 1x to 8x. When shooting at 48 to 60fps, the zoom can range from 1x to 6x. (2) When recording a 2.7K video at 24 to 30fps, the zoom can range from 1x to 6x. When shooting at 48 to 60fps, the zoom can range from 1x to 4.2x. (3) When recording a 4K video at 24 to 30fps, the zoom can range from 1x to 4.3x. When shooting at 48 to 60fps, the aircraft does not support zooming in or out. (4) When shooting a 5.4K video, the aircraft does not support zooming in or out. (5) When shooting 1080p videos either at 120 fps or in D-log/HLG mode, the aircraft does not support zooming in or out.

It’d be REALLY NICE IF DJI would stop “updating” my RC Pro’s FIRMWARE so often. The A2S has been fantastic, it’s the controller’s Android system that DJI is constantly messing with. I haven’t had “zoom” capability in a long time. The ‘height’ after launch never corresponds to ACTUAL conditions, even with constant 20+ satellites AS A NORM. The ‘coding’ component H.264 is gone and not an option. The latest .0500 was the worst update and it’s had lingering effects with the operating system. INSTEAD OF “fixing some bugs”, they’ve introduced MORE bugs!

That is actually good for them. So good market for the producers. By the way dji mavic air 2 is not outdated. You think it is. But there are still very few drones, which do 4k and 60fps, 1080p and 240fps. And the only thing I could want to buy the air 2s is, that it moves forward, while pointing the camera to the left/right to avoid crashes when doing the circling. Either these drones are both outdated or neither one of them is.
