Great video, with fantastic footage and explanation. I have just ordered the Air 2S as my first drone, and this excellent video has truly confirmed that it was the best choice for me, better than the Mini 2. I want to do video while travelling (by bicycle) and the active track is essential; spotlight also sounds amazing. I will have to cope with the higher weight and bulk, but for special tours I will find the room to pack it.

Still holding out for the Mini 3 whenever that drops but this is a really impressive drone. Makes you wonder when they will discontinue selling the Mavic Air 2 or Mavic 2 as this 2S seems better than both for either slightly more then regular Air 2 or a HECK of a lot less than the Mavic 2 (Pro or Zoom)

Wish it was compatible with the FPV goggles. What are your thoughts on the aliasing in the footage of dam and powerline towers and sign behind you while on one wheel? Very nice review as always.

Yes, you can. I paired it yesterday with the smart controller and the right dial is dedicated to digital zoom. I'm very happy about this.

In UK a drone has to remain within visible sight of the operator and can’t operate within 50metres of any person, vehicle or building not under your control. They sound very nice but in general they are largely useless due to local laws.

It exactly correct: crop≠focal length you don’t get a more compressed image by just cropping the image. The drone is cropping, not zooming.

One youtube channel dedicated to drone filming explain that in drone you really don't need to use ND filter since most of the time no one is able to see any motion blur filming far away

Depends how much movement is in the frame. Certainly the closer you fly to the ground, the more obvious the lack of blur becomes, but also if you had a lot of moving cars in frame it may be improved by ND filters.

*Would be better if they keep the resolution of the camera 12mp. 12mp with 1 inch sensor. We would get an even bigger pixel pitch which means even better video quality. Increasing the resolution to 20mp has offset some of the benefit of 1 inch sensor. Whole point of 1 inch sensor is for larger pixels. But by increasing resolution aswell we don't get the biggest pixel size we could of got. We Don't need 20mp resolution. People use their drone to record video not take photos.*
