Great video Faruk! Lake Dolores is definitely a blast. I was just out there flying with Ken Dono, Sean Ozz and Bob Dempsey. We had a blast flying this bando waterpark and hope it's around for a bit longer. Sad what vandals have done to some of the structures. Nice work flying in manual. I enjoy your videos.

Great video. You are a brave man! Everyone else was testing this over grassy fields and lightly wooded areas with the occasional flight over shallow water. You do your testing over concrete and around steel structures. You should get points for the higher pucker factor.

I'm confused, can you do those loops and rolls with the addition of the joystick on the new Motion Controller, or do you still need to use the regular controller to get inverted?

If you want to get your blood really pumping then people laying out their own cash of about $1,500 will break the heart rate monitor. You put together a good video and it's something I'm certainly considering buying because of it, which is all that matters.

At what FPS did you film with the Avata? The drone footage has a lot of stuttering and artifacts on my TV, but on my iPhone it runs smoothly (due to ProMotion)

I would run 30 FPS 4K. You can downscale 120 slowmo to 24 FPS but not in 4K.

Good video, but... 3:48 Sudden movements when we are VIDEOING. :-) We do not film, we video. Digital Video and film require different skill sets. Having DIFFERENT historical and TECHNOLOGICAL timelines spanning 150 years. 🙂 If you want to educate start by having pride in the technology we use including our own language to describe what we do. Our tools are Digital Video, Non-linear, and CGI. The other professionals who know how to use film and film cameras, like an ARRIFLEX 435 and Steenbeck flatbeds. :-) That's the tools of filming. Know the difference and be better at your craft. Respect to you.

Sorry another thing DJI need to sort out is this B.S registration where you have to register and lock all their drones and devices to a single email account that cannot be changed. They claim more B.S that you can but anyone who’s tried to contact them to change it has found out that is again B.S and that dji just fob you off!. Say you lose access to your email account, have to create a new one then it makes your expensive DJI product bricked and useless!. So until DJI change that they can p1ss off!.

I was not aware of this, I was going to buy an avata, but now knowing this I am not. I personally can't buy consumer electronic products that are restrictive like that. I also heard they have to be connected to the internet just to fly the drone, what if I need to fly where there is no cell signal. I planned on using it for a backpacking trip as a periscope, but I can't do that if there is no signal.

I googled it today and there is forums full of people incredibly angry that they still cannot change the email they used to activate products. There’s countless posts of people stating they’ve wasted $600 on say a drone because they now can’t login so on and so on!. It’s just an unacceptable practice and I wish more KZbin channels would make this crystal clear when they review/advertise these products!. As people buy them based on the reviews find they can’t change the email for whatever reason get livid with anger and in part blame the youtuber for not highlighting this issue!.

for this type of quadcopter im not sure dji is great. you will crash more and break stuff but cant fix them easily, and dont have the knowledge because you didnt build it. it means their design needs more user serviceable parts basically, and be stronger. the tester here just used it for a few flights, but imagine after 3-6mo
