This is awesome, I was under the impression you had to fly the waypoints before making them and not that you could do what you have shown (Just using the remote, drone off and pre setting the way points)

I have the down loaded map displayed on RC 2 but when touch the satellite view button it wouldn't switch. Is there something I need to do to get it to switch? Thanks for the video.

Great tutorial! Can Waypoints be used to take still photos? Also, how do you assign GPS coordinates to each Waypoint? Thx.

In order to take photos, you need to make sure that you have the drone pause at each waypoint for a few seconds(default is 0), and then also in settings for that waypoint you select take photo instead of record. If you mean altitude, you can adjust that for each waypoint in settings too. The map that you plan on also assists with GPS coordinates when the waypoints mission is loaded in the drone. Thanks!

@@RichardUttingSharpshootingUK When you plan a waypoints mission and open a waypoint setting, the first option is CAMERA ACTION which defaults to NONE.(Look at TIME 1:53 in this video) But you can also select "Take Photo" or "Start Recording." Also in this vid look at time 2:44 and note that "Hover" is 0s or zero seconds. Change "HOVER" to how many seconds you want drone to pause at that waypoint and change CAMERA ACTION to "Take Photo"

Subscribed. . .This step by step video is exactly what I need as a new drone pilot. Thank you. What I really need is GPS coordinate way point to locate specific POI. Example: once you're in the forest under heavy cover, device GPS isn't accurate but drone is above tree canopy. Drone with strobes can be used to locate ecact POI from the ground, for example. A drone that ran out of battery and landed in forest and sent landing way point before touching down. Any way to program GPS coordinate ? Thank you

I have a problem that I haven't been able to figure out, maybe you have seen it. When I turn the RC on to plan a wpt flight, the map is large like the whole world and I keep having to shrink the display many times to get to my location.

That may be a restriction in your country. You MIGHT be able to plan it with drone powered on but not flying. Good luck!
