Wow! I never seen other KZbinrs explaining this kind of thing, I really appreciate this video , it helps a lot of people to understand more how to fly a drone, hopefully other KZbinrs can learn from you my brother, little steps like this can help a lot. Most of the KZbinrs make videos just to make money, not to teach others. Thank you again!

Manual mode really is a different beast. I can't recommend a simulator enough. There are some really great ones for under $20. Order the controller a few weeks before buying the package and spend 20 minutes a day in a sim. The tutorials are decent, but going into freestyle mode and following along with a learn to fly series on KZbin helped me learn much faster.

What simulator do you recommend to learn to fly the Avata 2, I’m using TRYP, and getting better, just not sure if it’s the best option for us Avata 2 owners
@brandon96896 ай бұрын
Tryp definitely has much faster and snappier drones to choose from. It's definitely not accurate to flying an Avata 2. But learning to make it through races nice and steady without crashing will make sure you're more than ready to control the Avata.

Any simulator that you're comfortable with will help! When you jump into the real deal, you take things slow, you will already know how to fly, you'll just be adjusting to the Drone and the rates

Great explanation! Thanks for the great video! I wish DJI would allow adjusting the C2 levels in manual mode during flight. This feature could be useful when I suddenly want to fly slowly and quickly switch the gimbal to mid, or if I want to fly in reverse and switch the C2 to down. Hopefully, they will allow programming it to a specific position in the future.

Cool video thanks. I still have a question. If I set the Avata2 to full manual, the left stick range of motion on my DJI Remote 3 controller is still very high, I have to move it quite far for the drone to start or fly. Do I have to set this up myself or what am I doing wrong? The stick reacts as if I were in normal mode or sport mode. Thank you for your feedback.

Yes. The default mode is mode 2 (throttle on the left stick), but I fly Mode 1 (throttle on the right). It's easy to change stick modes
Great explanation. Thank you! But I'm not clear on something, if I just want to use the controller in Sport mode for a while, the controller still functions like a regular mini type one, correct? Meaning the spring tension is still there on the left stick? I have to manually remove that tension, no?

Its a tool to get everything out of your drone but its not easy and takes practice. Motion controller 3 is has its limits and really for the beginners and simple flights. Also switched to the FPV controller 3. Best decision ever

You'll want the throttle/left stick in "spring back" mode for normal and sport.
@enybro17542 ай бұрын
But why not leaving it like that for manual mode? (With spring back) I get it that it will throttle itself a bit up but since you are using it, it won’t just do what it wants. No one really explains why the spring back is so much more worse in manual mode. I find it hard to use my throttle without springback
