Finally, an honest review! Forget those influencers! 😂 8:47 We had that problem as well (not being able to screen record in order to show the Real View or the PiP) -- we just showed a simulated view in our initial review.

Honest reviews are the best. DJI should add full recording in the future, hopefully.

I was really hoping the Avata had a better camera and more dynamic range. And DJI has seemed knocked it out of the park in this department. Great first impressions, and thanks for sharing Eddie.

I just sold my Mini4 Pro and bought the Avata2. Initially I thought I would buy the Mini4 Pro and buzz around with the new goggles and also enjoy the MC3 with head tracking. I soon found out I could really end up bumping into tight spots, with no real protection. I should've bought the Avata2 from the get go but, live and learn. I have ordered the Avata2 and now awaiting on delivery. Feeling pretty stoked about it! (Former Avata 1 owner).

Camera improvement on the avata 2 is a game changer. You will love it.
@gcopter19633 ай бұрын
I find the pass thru feature really useful. Should you need to make an adjustment on your controller, be it the FPV or MC3, you no longer need to "break the seal" on your already adjusted goggle position, to look at your hands, whereas before, you pretty much had to remove the goggles on your face and later re adjust. It is useful to me in the sense that, for instance, learning where the buttons and their corresponding functions are on the MC3 before muscle memory kicks in, it helps you there by avoiding the already mentioned goggle repositioning gymnastics.

Curious how effective would this be at blowing away leaves and pine needles off of roofs / gutter guards? Could we see a video?
@MrEddieNunez8 ай бұрын
Avata 1 would be more suitable for that, but not really ideal either way.

I have the Avata and now the Avata 2 and controller 3 is on the way! I just wish every time a new Avata came out we didn’t have to replace everything.

Any talk on repair ability? Can you buy the guards and other parts and replace them yourself like the OG Avata? Good review Eddie. Looking forward to more on the way.

I think self repair on this unit will be rough, unless you really know what you are doing.

Eddie, can you use the Motion Controller 3 with a left hand? I am left handed! Thanks, Tom
@MrEddieNunez9 ай бұрын
Good question. I’ll check and report back. I would imagine the answer is, yes.
@MikeyCanDoIt9 ай бұрын
You can, but it is annoying that the power button is on the left side so it really wasn't made for left handed users in mind.

Nice Video Man! This is definitely an upgrade from the Avata 1 but I still expected the video quality to be better. Let's be honest DJI has the capability of doing it. I guess they can't give us everything one time. The Mavic 2 pro has a better image quality.

I think it’s tough to get a better camera with dual function, transmitting back to your goggles and filming.

Why should i sell my better goggles 2 if theyre usable for avata 2 after one month it came out??? And the passthrough is for flying VLOS, not for looking whats around you and thats why it has such a smal FOV and is zoomed in!!!
