DJI Battery Killer - Error 0x00 Fix for Mavic Air 1 Battery

Many people have problem with DJI Battery Killer Error 0x00, for Mavic Air 1, including me.
Someone from a forum, mentioned about opening the battery cover applying voltage to the battery, and then insert the 3 pins. I was too lazy to do that...
I figured out this lazyman method... by applying voltage (using DJI Charger) and insert the 3 pins accordingly... Then as per normal, apply the DJI KIller Software.
It immediately worked. Hope this method helps You too.

Nice find. Yes, above method is to " switch on " Battery while connected to CP2112 and battery killer. Different methods can be used, but above defintely works 100%.

Thank you very much for this method This "power supply alternative" made the CP2112 board and DJI Battery Killer do the job, and finally I can revive my 2 DJI Spark batteries using this method!

I don't have a DJI Charger. Used the drone itself to charge all along. Can I still somehow trigger powering the battery?

I did this and I was able to read and clear everything but when I try to read again without the power supply it doesn't read, any ideas why?

Mavic Air 1 came with a 4-battery charger. How on earth can you stick the battery on that charger and still be able to connect wires?? Cause all the pins are covered/hidden when the battery sits in charger.

So what’s being illustrated here is a method to power the battery so it can be flashed/reset with the Killer software and CP2112 board, right? Bc all of us have batteries we left in storage for 1y or longer and they went dead and won’t revive, and this is a workaround?

Yes, i manage to make it work this way. No one showing this method, so i decided to show how i did it. Just need to switch on power supply with the battery charging cable, with the 3 pins inserted (accordingly). Apply the DJI KIller Software, it shall work without 0x00 error. After reset, You shall able to see green light blinking on the battery. From then on, can start charging the battery with DJI charging cable.

I can't seem to make it work - did you cut the cover of the charger connector for the contacts to fit properly?

No need to cut the cover. Just poke the pins through the Battery holes accordingly. After that, use the 'battery charger cable' an press the cover tightly on the 3 pins. Remember to 'switch on' the Battery Charging Cable - You need to input power supply to the Battery.

Anyone has a clue what to do with the message "Could not open device"? It seems the software doesn't connect at all, even with a healthy battery I get this. No clue why, faulty CP2112 board? Any ideas?

Try another cable - make sure it’s not only a charging cable. It has to be a charging and data cable. Had the same issue

Two opttions, you have a faulty cp2112 module o it a conection problem with the cp2112 module. I had the same problem and my problem was the USB cable although I tried with many diferent USB cables. The unique USB cable that worked for me was the one coming with the dron otherwise your laptop may not recognize the cp2112 module.

I made the connection and connected its charger together and was able to restore one, but my other battery recognizes it and reset its parameters with the software but it still does not turn on its LEDs or charge, what could it be? Is there any way to also know the battery chip? is for mavic 2 pro and the battery model is FB2, thank...
