newbie question but what do I need to make the DJI FPV work with a Taranis X9 lite radio? Thanks!

Eric Bartolo nothing, they are independent systems so you would just hook each one to the quad like normal and fly

@@cappafpv Thanks for the prompt reply mate! If I buy a pre-built quad from iflight BNF with DJI FPV, can I just buy the DJI goggles and connect the quad with the Taranis X9 lite radio + crossfire receiver? Thanks

What would be the practicality of using this system with an RC truck. Would it be possible to use the DJI controller in place of the RC controller that usually comes with trucks (Arrma / Traxxis). I am not sure how that could be done, as it seems like the DJI controller is only compatible with BetaFlight, which I assume is only relevant to quads. Just wondering, since the controller paired with the camera supposedly provides additional range. Any thoughts on this would be welcome.
@cappafpv5 жыл бұрын
No-Motion well it could work. I’ve used my frksy taranis on my rock crawler. DJI system uses sbus so as long as you have a board that converts sbus to ppm I believe it will work. I have done this before
@zimzillakilla5 жыл бұрын
You could setup the fc board to control servos.
@manfrombkk5 жыл бұрын
I was just thinking it would be cool to mount the DJI FPV camera and air unit somehow inside and back behind the windshield (maybe would need a small hole cut out in the windshield. then you could just use your own Traxxas Transmitter to control the car, but actually be looking thru the camera in an HD view, as if you were actually inside the car. Like a real driver of a real car would do. Just some thoughts. I am sure the RC community will look into this, as the system is certainly not just intended for quad copter uses.

Thanks to Share, I bought the googles and 3 units for my drones, I'm gonna use my FRSky controler. But I have a big question?! Any time I want to Change the drone I have to rebind the googles with the unit?!? Or it saves the bind of my 3 units/drones?!?

DSteps Pilot mine saves the 2 air units and it links to the first one powered up if that’s what your asking.

How can I connect my FRSKY X9d plus with the digital fpv?
@cappafpv5 жыл бұрын
Luciano Cuneo I’m not sure what your asking specifically. This setup is using the DJI with a taranis. The DJI system is only a vtx and camera. The video is hooking the camera and vtx up. Maybe I’m missing what your asking.

@@cappafpv Thanks for the response! I am new to the FPV game so I just wanted to make sure what I would need to purchase besides already having my X9d transmitter and the DJI FPV Digital System. I am thinking of getting a Cinebee 4k that comes with Frsky X-RS receiver but I am not sure if that would be compatible with what I have per say. Any suggestions?
@cappafpv5 жыл бұрын
Luciano Cuneo if you are buying a bind n fly then you would remove the vtx and camera from the bnf. It doesn’t sound like nothing else is needed.

it's a heat sink - you need it. Air flow might help, but the components get hot, so I'm not sure you can remove them - maybe I'll try.

So your using that huge box with the VTX and Receiver as a HD VTX only. real waste of money on my opinion. And a huge waste of space and weight. Wait for the Fatshark. It will be a much more efficient and less costly solution. Plus I can't stand DJI. So no thanks.
