This is the DJI FPV Drone from DJI.
As always I opened it up to see what makes it tick.
The main questions are: How sturdy the design is and how easy would be for an average person to repair it.
As a piece of advice for all the guys just starting out their FPV journey with this drone is to stay out of the M flying mode (fully manual to be exact) until they fully learned the skill to fly it in a simulator and even then to pay extra caution when flying in M mode. The (acro, manual, rate mode, etc) style of control takes months or even years to master so be careful and don't make any stupid decisions!

This looks so much harder to repair than a mavic, on a drone that will need to be repaired more often haha

looks worse to repair than the mavic clones on banggood. applying device design to fpv ruins nearly everything good about fpv drones. with plastic and aluminum construction it's unclear why they didn't panel the chassis in glass to make it at least as durable as a dropped phone.

Wow! Can't believe DJI shipped you one to rip apart. Great to see how they're put together (if ever needed). Joshua Bardwell broke the arm on his already (DJI shipped him two FPVs). So, not to confident they'll stand-up to the majority of crashes...have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of rebuilt tutorials down the road once people start getting them in their hands. Again, thanks for the video!

I would like to know if this possible to regulate the tension of the sticks, since from what I have read, with the F1 and F2 screws that are behind the control, it can only adjust the vertical tension of the sticks (throttle and pitch). Great to see inside I have crashed mine about 4 times mostly due to it being so tall and keep hitting the bottom going through gaps the gimbal has been fine a couple was into walls . Biggest problem is disarming th motors in a hurry I hate the double tap to stop and I’ve got the pause button in stead of stop and it’s flew into stuff when I wanted to do a quick land. The range is great compared to air units tho . This will not replace my bashing quads but still a excellent drone.

for us of great value cause my buddy had crashed his on day 1 and we needed this piece to make no more mistakes during "slaugthering" cause we sold the pieces already ... 1 arm broken and 1 motor with board and led and 1 cable loose which had stopped the whole drone from booting - but we learned that only while tearing it apart.
