I have now changed my mind on buying the Inspire 1! Remotely stopping your Inspire 1 to operat without updating firmware is ludacris!

I'm using inspire 1 pro & firmware problem in my drone Video preview not come in Dji go app & Show 'Camera firmware update required' When I try to upgrade the firmware, it refuses and the log files just say: When I try to upgrade the firmware, it refuses and the log files just say: The current firmware does not support downgrade. Use a different version of firmware to downgrade the target version. I am using the latest version of the firmware from the official DJI website. I think the problem may be that the already install firmware on my drone, as it reports as 'v01.11.01.52' whereas the latest from DJI is 'v01.11.01.50'. As such, when I try to install the correct firmware the Inspire thinks that it is out of date.

been trying to update my inspire and have followed the instructions, but the drone simply doesn't do anything. The back light flashes yellow, and the camera flashes a red light. Once i've left if for a full 30 minutes nothing has changed. On checking the micro SD there is no text file to look at. No sure what to do now.

Hi Ivan, may we know if you had unzipped the file and place the firmware in the root category on your SD card? Please try to format the SD card and try to update again, remember to back up the files before formatting the SD card. I just got my Inspire 1 Pro airborne, latest firmware but wondering if it's compatible with the DJI Go 4 app for IOS? I gave up on the current version of DJI Go on Android.

Hi there, Inspire 1 doesn't support DJI GO 4, you may donwload the latest IOS version of DJI GO to check.

@@DJISupportGlobal I see lots of issues with the Android version, so I will stick with the IOS version then. Are there any plans to make the DJI Go 4 available for the Inspire 1 Pro, or are there technical limitations preventing this?

@@cirkuitdroneservices7982 The corresponding APP of Inspire 1 series is always DJI Go since it is released, DJI Go 4 is and will not compatible with Inspire 1. What problems do you have with Android DJI Go?

@@DJISupportGlobal I am unable to launch it - it crashes even before the UI comes up. Test was done on a newly installed Samsung Tab 3, updated Android and downloaded latest version of DJI Go from Google Play.

I just recently made a trade for the Inspire1 v1, 2 controllers, and just finished updating it to the latest firmware ,without any trouble. I have the Phantom 4 Pro also, and even though it is a better craft, considering it has obstacle avoidance, and better camera, I do love the Inspire too. Just wish I could get my new DJI Goggles to work with both drones.

None of the used products work. I've been staring for two days at a gently used aspire 1 that does nothing. I'm tech savvy but this is ridiculous. So many versions of the damn software but no clear answer about which one to use. I've tried 4 different apps and the drone still does not connect. You would think for something this expensive they would make sure people could use it longer than 5 years. It seems they've made it obsolete on purpose. Not happy.

Inspire 1 pro was the worst purchase I have ever made. Just take $5000 and throw it away. Horrid support, firmware updating is a ridiculously complex process that tech savvy people can't accomplish easily. They built it crappy so that you spend another small fortune sending it back and forth for them.

DJI has the absolute worst website navigation I have ever seen. Why would they make something so crazy expensive, so hard to update and get running? I try to go to the website to attempt (yet again) to update the firmware and cant even find where the download links are. You would think as much money as they are making that they would spend a little of it making their crap easier to use. I will never buy DJI again.

Those of you saying this is too complicated; The DJI Inspire is designed for people with actual intelligence who can do something as pathetically simple as downloading a file - loading it on to an SD card, and then inserting the SD card into the gimbal on the Drone, and finally; turn the drone on. If this is too complicated for you, then I recommend you check out the DJI Tello.

Right.. I’ve had my inspire 1v2 since day one ... I have done every update without a problem... The problem is the owner... read ,read,read.... follow the instructions completely..... I have many drones and updating each one is a different process.... but the fact is..... If you follow the information given to you there shouldn’t be a problem with a simple task as updating software....

It's not complicated. It just doesn't friggin work. I did exactly everything in this video. Just never connects. Tried 2 tablets, 3 phones, numerous sd cards and numerous usb cables nothing.

This absolutely isn't a toy. I've owned mines since it came out and I love it. I crashed it 2 times being fast and kus6 wanting to use it. And dji helped with every single step both times. I've seen people say online dji had horrible customer service and that is a absolute lie. People need to tell the truth and if you are someone that owns the company or works for it you shouldnt comment because ofcourse you will say it's a good product. I honestly think other drone companies are going to dji pages and lying on their products. It almost kept me from buying mines. But I did do much research. Every problem one ever had they walked me through it without fail. They treat you good before and after you have paid them.
