Active needs more sensors for obstacle avoidance while tracking. So can't happen.

@@orange42 To be technical , you don't need the extra sensors. That said since you don't have the sensors you have a decent change of the drone running into something if you are careless. The drone already has active track software since that is what it uses for the quick shots

Thanks for these tests! It would also be very interesting for me to know if there is any way to adjust the speed of the QuickShots. For cinematic shots they seem to be way to fast imo... :(

Hi Jérôme. There is a way to slow down the shots. In the top left of Phil's screen you can see that it says 'Mode P'. There are a few modes and if yours is too fast it is possible that you are in 'Mode S' which is sport mode. The most 'cinematic' mode will be 'Mode C' which slows down all of the drones movements making it easier to fly and also much smoother. I hope this helps! Happy flying :)

Hello, i found out that when i using quick shots the drone losses return home point 🤔 is it normal?

Does it always take the same number of seconds to fly a full circle or does it have a constant speed flying the circle? Does the speed in the circle change based on P/S/C modes? I'm waiting on getting mine, and I love this type testing your doing. There is also a gimbal speed setting that might also help "keep you in frame" during the circle. Not sure, but worth exploring.

Some people are asking for a test of the video EV, which you can adjust in flight. I'm not sure, but I think that prior to record you can pick and lock a certain EV setting, record, then repeat the scene at other EV settings to see how this impacts the quality. That would make an interesting and helpful video. Thanks.

Philip Morris separately there is no audio on the Mavic mini as you know. You can use a zoom audio recorder or the audio from your video camera.

Hey, nice video😍 But i have a question, do you know if i need to set the altitude from settings to make it work? Because mine doesn't want to record, i can select the subject but doesn't go anywhere when i press "start". I was thinking maybe the other reason can be the thing that i'm in the fly zone for airplanes? Does it count on this?

I haven't tried to open quick-shots with no memory card installed so that might be it. To get to quick-shots, press the button on the right side of the screen just above the record button. Then you will see the quick-shots button as seen in this video at 0:51 good luck.

Just bought the mini and am a real estate photographer. I would like to do quickshots of the homes I shoot. This mode doesn't seem to pick up inanimate objects, even when I try to draw a box around it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I believe so, I've never tried it without one but it does automatically record the shot so most likely. Many people have commented that they don't have the button without a card installed.

Salem Shoran I figured it out no thanks to anyone here!!! Go get a 128 go chip and the feature will pop up as shown in the videos! I was using a 32 chip wasn’t enough for the features - go get a 128 g chip!

For me 2.7k is enough for what I want, 249gr is great, more than 25 minutes of flight time and the price is in place of what I want to spend on a tangle drone
