Thank you for emphasizing that overheating problem. I have been watching reviews and seldom do I see others emphasize on cons. All they focus are the positive stuff, probably because their drones were given for free and that they were obliged to promote. LOL This is an honest review. Thank you.

Your welcome. Unfortunately your right about the promoting. You'll see most reviewers want to appease the company that provides the free demo and they also want to make as much affiliate commission sales as possible. I believe that's entirely the wrong way to approach a review. The viewers deserve to know all the cons as well otherwise it's dishonest and unfair to those who will spend their hard earned money on the backs of the review. You'll see in my reviews I'll tell it straight whether a product is a free demo or I've purchased it myself 🍻.

To relate to this video after getting my Mavic Mini in April, I have to say my experience with this drone has been awesome as far as learning, flying and enjoying it as a hobby goes. Family and friends got wind of this and some of them want me to take photos of their places. I do like coming back to these kinds of videos to remind me why this drone is awesome. Friends and family are astonished that such quality comes from such a tiny drone. P.S. after my Auntie saw what this was capable of and me educating her about the technology, I convinced her to get one.

I've avoided all the other reviews and now... I think I'm gonna sell my Mavic 2 Zoom and my Xiaomi Mi 4k and get one of these. It's a BIG word for something so small but it just looks awesome, and I just know the camera quality, stability, flight characteristics and flight time are going to be excellent. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in any of the Mavic Mini KZbin videos I've watched that you MUST APPLY FOR DJI CARE REFRESH WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER ACTIVATING YOUR DRONE! If you don't (I didn't), you'll have to apply and get accepted for after activation purchase. This requires that you make a video following strict guidelines showing various parts and aspects of your Mavic Mini. They provide you with a link to instructions and a video. It's additional insurance at a cost of $39 (US) that: "Provides two replacement units for a small additional charge in one year and covers a wide variety of accidents, giving you greater peace of mind."

I think flex is not necessarily a bad thing. During a crash or hard landing, too much rigidity will make a structure break. For example, helicopter skids flex during landing.

Cool drone I have one but haven't flown it yet..🙄But home tomorrow and I'll be sending it.. 😎If you want to upgrade the gimble sticks I've heard the mavic air sticks will work with the mini TX... Only other gps quad sub 250g is the cheerson cx23.. I have it as well but only like 13 minutes flight and geo fenced to 1km..

There is a way to change the speed of the gimbal...I think its on an advanced tab inside the gimbal menu...I'm at work so I can't look at menu now. Also just change to satellite or mixed view by tapping on the left, bottom icon.

Personally I love this thing well made I recommend the fly more pack if you plan on flying for a long duration the only gripe is the battery life (a full battery lasts for about 30min) which is a decent time but it gets painful, but other than that a amazing beginner or pro drone, it’s very easy so fly and use i found out everything, and was comfortable with it in less than 5 minutes, plus I didn’t fly drones a lot before purchase

The overheating warning was because you put the drone on a blanket. Just put it on a flat surface to avoid the problem. The drone has its ventilation slits on the bottom.

Dustin I just got the fly more combo and am having a heck of a time trying to upload DJI's app..Parrot Bebop is so much easier. When I go to look for the DJI FLY app it brings me to the GO app and I can select the app that says "after phantom 4" and that brings me to the Inspire drone.Can't figure this out and am getting very aggro'd :-/
