DJI MAVIC PRO black screen / NO image - repair

I had this problem with my Spark. After a day of DJI support spewing compatibility issues at me, I found it was actually the updated DJI GO app. The newer version blacked out peoples displays. Now that I've downloaded an older version from APK MIRROR, my video feed is back to normal. Although I'm being prompted to upgrade constantly, at least my drone now works

@@nursebackpackers6271 Click this link www.apkmirror.com/apk/dji-technology-co-ltd/dji-go-4/variant-%7B%22minapi_slug%22%3A%22minapi-19/ There you will find a list of DJI GO 4 apps, just choose an update date that worked for you before the latest one. You will need to allow downloads from unknown sources on your phone or tablet and also disable automatic updating for apps (found in google play store settings). Its a bit of a slog but it will work, promise.

@@firdausharon5049 Uhh, If you're on android (which I am) just go to where you download your apps. This is the Play store, it's on your phone, tablet etc

I had the same problem when I updated to the latest version 01.04.0500 - I was confused too NO LIVE VIEW at all just BLACK screen and the controller was telling me "Ready to go GPS". I then looked at the camera settings the shutter was ALL the way over to 1/8000. I then started rolling the RIGHT finger button (Button 13 Camera Settings Dial). I kept rolling it until it was down to 1/4 I then got a good image quality light and stuff. THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM with no new lens purchase or lowering the update to an older version. Hope this helps...

I am Brazilian and my screen went black after I updated my tablet from version dji go 4 v4.3.14 to version 4 v4.3.16 after I reinstalled version 4 v4.3.14 came back to appear image again.

@ Olá...já tive 3 problemas assim...uma vez precisei substituir o cabo flet...outra vez precisei substituir o cabo de vídeo...e a terceira vez era o tablet que usei, ele não era compatível com o software da dji. Pode acontecer também de estar tudo correto e você estar com o drone num local escuro com o iso baixo...não vai ter imagem nenhuma...vc terá que aumentar o iso pra aparecer as imagens...em todo caso não esqueça de ver se seu software está atualizado.

I was using with my HUAWEI Tablet, same one I use with my Xiaomi 4k drone and my Hubsan Zino, but everything would work, except no real time image image on my tablet. I switched to my LG Anroid smart phone, and now it works! Surprising Dji support has never had this issue before...

I am having a similar issue. My next step is gimbal board wich is located above absortion plate wich is about 50$. Now I am sad, because I did not buy a new gimbal with all new parts wich is 220$.

did it record video onto the sd card? i had this same problem where all i get is a black / black and grey screen but if i record video it goes onto the sd card and i can view it on my pc

Same issue. But awkwardly when i change the lens i still dont get an image. The Lens works on the other drone. Because i had a gimbal overload warning, i change the whole gimbal and the cables. From this point, i have no clue what the issue is while i also have refreshed the firmware on my mavic pro.

I also purchased a Brand new Mavic Pro Platinum. I cannot get an image to appear on my cell phone, everything else seems to work. I click the camera, and the photo shows up in my photo library but did not appear on my cell phone screen? They have told me to update the firm ware, but shows it is latest version, everything else working, just no real time image on my android phone or my tablet .... Did I just throw away $1,400?

Buy another cable ( between your remote and your phone). I have heard sometimes can be that cable. You can buy one cheap on AliExpress

My camera was working fine before changing gimbal motor. I changed gimbal motor and then camera is not working. Lens was fine before changing gimbal motor. Could u help me to understand the problem ?

Check if u didn’t snap the cables they are very thin and can snap easily

I recommend u get another transmission cable. It connects to the gimbal camera and motors on the gimbal and to the motherboard

I am trying to get my spare smartphone (galaxy a33) running with dji go 4. The problem is that I don't see the camera in the app. With the iPhone everything is working fine. Does someone know the solution? thanks

Hola yo tengo el mismo problema pero le doy unos pequeños golpecitos a la cámara y funciona lo apago y prendo y funciona normal hasta en el vuelo sigue sin fallar pero si lo apago y prendo al otro día me hace el mismo fallo crees que será eso gracias

jose malpica podría ser alguna falla de conexión, por un mal contacto entre conectores, prueba sacando el lente y apretando bien el conector interno de la cámara.

First thing to check if you have a black screen (but do see the DJI menu): check the DIAFRAGMA of the camera! Mostly it is turned shut by accident, just open diafragma with the button on the upper right front side of the remote controller and all is good.

i'm feeling super stupid right now. after 3 months my camera went blank. i reset the camera, no luck. bought a new lens. no luck..spent $250 and bought a whole new gimbal. no luck...now the system is over heating and i'm about to buy a fan. after this if nothing works it's in the trash can..
