Thanks Michael. Probably if you have flown in sport mode you have got even further and faster with same battery usage. But to be honest, what you have done, especially with a "new" drone, I would have never dared to do. But this shows how much confidence this piece of HW gives. Best regards

Don't blame you not going out to at least 4 miles. 2 miles out and back you have done 4 miles round trip and you have still about 56% battery left. That is pretty good. Seems like the battery would last an 8 mile round trip. It would probably be almost critical by the time it returns from something like that.

rich eldert I don't think it does.... I always make sure I'm well within 50% battery life ...more like 60% when I feel like I'm at halfway point.

rich eldert: it does know how much power is required to make it home. If you look at the top of the screen, just below the information bar, there was red/yellow/green bar. In that bar, you see an H, that is the amount required to make it home. if the battery gets to that point, it will automatically initiate return to home unless you cancel it.

FPVJunkie I believe the Go app asks for confirmation that you've been authorized to fly in class D areas so you're entirely responsible for your actions if anything goes wrong, but yes there are places like really close to airports where it won't let you fly near it at all. Just stop and land I think, or not take off at all. Like the Phantom 4.

Really enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing. I have the P3 and Q500 right now. Thinking about getting either the Mavic Pro or the new P4 Pro. Tough making my mind up. Thanks again and fly safe!

I am still waiting on my Mavic Pro to ship. I loved your video and nerve to fly so far out over water. I just subbed and look forward to reviewing your other videos.

Interesting when you focus on the distance the sea turns to mush.? Is that mush in the final footage?
@MichaelKincaiddontroughit8 жыл бұрын
Propertyflix - Property Marketing Edinburgh Unfortunately yes, you really have to stay on top of your focusing. Something I am completely not use to. I can't imagine they wouldn't improve on this with a app update soon.

you should fly furthest until you have 55% battery left so you have enough to return it home. will you still get the map view in the corner if you lose the hd feed connection? if you lose the hd feed will you still get a feed but at lower resolution? if you lose connection at what speed does it automatically return to home?

Great video - huge cojones 😅 What size SD card were you using? Filled up quite quickly. Also, is there an IOS equivalent you know of that's as good as Mobizen? Keep up the great vids!!

qmmo much appreciated! I'm using the 16 gig card that came with it it did fill up but only because it had about four or five previous flights on it that I did not delete off
