Hey, Dustin I purchased my mini 2 drone and combo on Friday. It's now Tuesday and very happy. This is my 4th drone and the best . Mini 2 drone is easy to use and makes good photos and videos . I was interested in Air 2 but price and my 1 year experience, Mini 2 is good for all my drone ✈ flights, it's small, light and good for people retired. I was bored and now have a good hobby. Each day I wake up early, then check the weather. Then I will go flying like an eagle. It doesn't matter what age you are and what you do for entertainment. I say do it, be safe and enjoy life. FYI: You can record in 4k in the Quick Shot modes by going to the top right "three dot" menu and change it back to 4k within there. Hopefully DJI will change that in a future update!?

Hey, from what I've seen in another youtube video, you have to first select quickshots mode and the press the three dots and go to camera settings. There you can switch your quickshots resolution.

I was born in 1958 things like this weren't even imaginable growing up. I had one of those airplanes on strings that flew in circles with the Cox 0.49 gas powered engine that I crashed and destroyed on Christmas day. It turns out I get dizzy when turning in circles rapidly. This isn't an old man rant about back in my day blah blah blah , this is a man I'm envious of the young people today that have such cool things to entertain themselves with. Good review that doesn't talk over the heads of people that didn't grow up with the technological advancements of today. Maybe someday we will have the flying cars (not concepts) that The Jetsons teased us with. Thanks for the informational review.

I have a Mini as well as a Mini 2. If this is your first drone, get the Mini 2. The Ocusync2 is worth the extra cost as well as 4k, raw photos, etc.

Man this drone is AWESOME!!! I caught the Fly More combo in the pawn shop for $300!!! It was in PERFECT condition, and the extras packets with the props & sticks were STILL factory sealed!! And the batteries only had 2 charge cycles on them!! This thing is NICE!!! Great review!!!

I got mine last week and the weather here in Ohio has been terrible. My first flight was in 25mph winds and I had 0 issues. I am very surprised and pleased with the performance of this little guy. I flew it today for over an hour and it was a blast. I thought I would never replace my Phantom 3 Pro but this little guy makes it difficult to want to take the P3P out. I highly recommend the Mini 2. Even if you are new to the hobby.

I took it out today in 10-15 mph winds and it flew very easy. I came from a p3 and a bebop 2 power. Mini 2 is amazing I love it. My first flight was in the same conditions as yours.

I had my pro and mini 2 out today with 20 mph sustained winds and gusts over 38 mph. I used to fly RC helicopters and I wouldn't fly in winds over 10, even a 5 mph wind was very noticeable. 20 mph wind, no way I could fly a heli in that kind of wind, much less ever be able to land it again.

The mini 1 was my first genuine camera drone and i loved every second of it! Even the crashes lol. So once i learned the mini 2 came out i jumped at the chance to upgrade! I have bought this drone 1 month ago, it's my first drone and I'm really satisfied with it. I'm really impressed by its range (tested at more than 1 mile with no issues), the steadyness of the videos and also the battery. With the latest updates, you can also now completely control the orientation of the drone during RTH, so you can swivel it left and right or even fly home backwards, filming as you go. It is lo longer restricted to adjusting the gimbal up and down but always facing forwards.

I have one and I absolutely love it. I've been using it as a freelancer and it's great as there isn't as much red tape like with larger ones. I don't have to keep 50metres away from people who aren't involved seeing as it's under 250g. My only criticism is the gimbal protector. Its hard to take off and put on without knocking the gimbal and I'm always worried about damaging it.

Great reviews. I particularly liked the longer and more in-depth reviews. 45 minutes to an hour is no problem, just get a cup of coffee if it's a morning review or if it's in the afternoon, an ice cold brewski. Have an SE right now, ordered a mini 2 for delivery this Thursday. I use it with my Marine survey work when I am inspecting sailboat masts. I now let the Drone do the work of going up 60 feet instead of me going up in a bosuns seat. Of course, on the weekends I do a little recreational flying. And yes, I do have a commercial drone certificate.

Yes, you can do 4K quick shots. Once you’re in quick shot mode click the top 3 dots and change to 4K. I think you have to go in camera submenu if memory serves me correctly. Quickshots has its own settings separate from video. Love your videos Dustin! Keep up the great work!

15:45 So what exactly is the reason for the camera doing that? Because the drone is tilting forwards so much that the camera gimbal can't compensate? It happened to me twice since late this summer when I got my Mavic Mini. Now that I think about it, the first time I was flying in sport mode and the second time the camera was pointing up at some fireworks. It all adds up, I don't even need an answer. I was worried there was something wrong with the gimbal, but I found peace of mind within myself.

I’m a bit late but after so much hard decision making about what drone to get I finally bought this one, this is my first drone with a 3 axis gimbal and 4K capabilities but I’m beyond impressed. The footage I shot was nothing short of amazing. It’s crazy how we’re surrounded by beauty but don’t realize it. Get the fly more package. You WONT be sorry.

Go to 3 dots menu after you've selected quickshots, in camera you set to 4K then it works just fine. BTW last update set RTH default to 100m
