In which 3rd paru app we can view 360 photos , I am struggling to view 360 photos , in fact oculus should have an inbuilt app for 360 photos to view

I cannot see any way of viewing a 360 still image in DEO, it appears to only look for videos while in the headset. I used to use the stock TV app in the Oculus but that appears to have stopped viewing 360 images, I just get a black screen with a message saying viewing in immersive mode. If you have any tips for viewing 360 images I would really appreciate it.

Dude you said a lot of words that doesn’t tell anyone how to do this. First: how did you record the 360 image .. or does the app just convert it to a 360? .. what app? Second what app did you use to view the content?

He mentions the dji drone, which can take a 360 photo when flying. You can probably also use an insta360 camera

Nice video, you’re right that not enough people actually view images and video in full 360 with something like the Quest 2. Which app in the Quest 2 did you use to view the photos? I’ve had a problem viewing 360 photos that I’ve loaded onto my Quest 2 using the TV app. The images have a black line that extends from the nadir to the top of the images. I think it’s something to do with how the TV app processes the still images. I’ve taken the same images and embedded them into a 360 video in Premiere Pro and the rendered video plays fine on the Quest 2 with no black lines. Strange, have you come across this? Also as a side note I’ve taken 360 images with both my Mini 2 and Air 2S. I was surprised to find that I actually the color profile of the Mini 2 images better than the Air 2S. I do some post processing sharpening with Topaz app and get really nice results for display in the Quest goggles.

Nope.. Sorry But The gimbal camera are note made to see 360 degree Up and Down only to see 360 degree you must turn physically your drone to see 360 degree.,

4096 × 2048 straight from the app or around double that if stitched on the computer instead
