Thanks for these tips and your other great videos. I would add checking to make sure the flight app on your phone and the firmware for the drone and controller are all up to date. Then make sure to do a quick sanity check of all the drone flight controls with the drone close to you and close to the ground to make sure everything seems normal.

One of the first YT videos I watched advised waiting for at least 20 satellites before taking off. An English drone operator, Ian In London, recently lost his Mini 3 Pro, after it drifted backwards (due to only about 11 satellites being locked). The 3 Pro hit the branches of a tree and fell into a narrow and deep river gorge. I keep the memory card in my Mavic 3. I download any photos/video to the RC Pro/RC-N1 & phone after landing the drone. I find that going at a slower pace avoids any 'rush of blood' that might compromise my decision making & also allows me time to spot if I've forgotten to reset/correctly set any features in Fly App.

Nice video once again. One step I would add after takeoff and before actual flight is a quick controls check in the hover. If calibration or whatever else is off, better find out 3 ft off the ground than 100 ft away 👍

Excellent video Sean and Drone Pilot app is a good one. I don't know how many times I've forgot to start recording. I actually have gotten really good at starting the screen recording on every flight in case something happens so I'll have some information. A couple of times I've started recording and guess what, not enough memory space left on the card.

Sorry buy I can't find any videos about my question so I thought I'd ask you. With my Mavic Air 2 I would get warnings indicating when an aircraft is detected as well as an indicator on the map showing where that aircraft is. Is there such a feature with the Mini 3 Pro? I've tried to find it in settings but so far to no avail. Is it a setting I have turned off, or is it just not available on the Mini 3 Pro?
