In the case of a pre planned waypoint flight ...How is the altitude from take off point to the first way point determined? Also...when you set the first waypoint to begin recording, ...do you have to set that at each waypoint?...or does it just continue recording...and if you "take a picture" at point 3 for example....does the video stop, until it gets to the next waypoint where you have set it to record?...Thank

Have you tried to use the waypoint at night using the night video mode? It doesn't seem to work as it always switches back to the regular mode. Any ideas how to record waypoints in night mode?

Great video. You mentioned this drone being a step up from the Air2s - Are you saying that because of the size and waypoints? Because the Air2s is still a beast of a drone and quality is still good as well. I have the M3P, and still fly my air2s daily. I know the 2s is somewhat dated now but you should Make a Air2s, MA3 and MM4P comparison video. haven't seen a video yet with all those drones compared to one another.

Just want to add here, I said I would never get a Mini 4 but I did, I still have my Air2S and my Zoom but I only fly the Mini 4, I’m just impressed with how it handles plus the flight time is incredible

@@truthseeker36 I’d say better on the Mini 4, it’s just so crisp, I flew for a month with no filter, I think DJI really got the camera down, I don’t fly my Air2S at all, it’s been my favorite for a long time , I’d say this long flight time is what really makes the difference, but as far as I know the extended battery come standard with the fly more combo, not sure if you can get the extended without

Is there a way to reverse the waypoints to avoid having the drone fly back to the first point and wasting battery? I know this is possible in the Hyperlapse mode but I cant seem to make it work in the video waypoints mode.

Great video! Try the Waypoint POI though because it works differently to the normal POI. It uses the drone’s GPS position rather than what what you point the camera at then you adjust the POI altitude to match the altitude relative to the take-off point.

Very cool buddy. I've asked a dear drone pilot of mine (Ian In London) if I should sell my Mini 2 fly more combo kit and and also Mini 3 Pro Combo kit, both have extras such as custom cases.... He said YES and stand by his great word always..... Do you also agree I should sell up to get Mini 4 Combo Kit?

I’m getting mine today. I wonder if these waypoints will let you fly backwards? Flying backwards is very tense in real flying but if you can program it… That makes it easy.

I just learned that i can mark Waypoints on the M3 using the Fn button on the RC-N1

Or just tap the plus box on the screen to add and subtract as well! I enjoyed waypoints on mavic 3 as well, it just doesn't fit in small places with waypoints like the Mini 4 Pro 💪

Good video X! DJI drone Technology has come a long way since I bought the Mini 1. It's wild how you can program waypoints with just a touch of a button and the OA works along with it.

I had the mini two, sold it to buy the mini three pro. I was wanting to get the waypoint. Ended up the mini three does not have the waypoint not the regular waypoint. Two months later they come out with the mini four with the waypoint I wanted. I have the DJI Mavic three classic but wanted a smaller drone. I hate that the mini three pro has hyper lapse with their way points.

Hey Xavier! I couldn't comment earlier, YT paused my ability to comment, for posting DJI Specs on the improved positional accuracy in comments here and there. YT thought I was spamming folks. Arrrgghh! Just a heads up on Waypoints - watch getting too close to stuff when setting WP's. Someone we both know crashed his Mavic 3 - he set Waypoints that took him super close to a branch. Running mission it was maybe half a foot off and well, you know the rest.

Waypoints are amazing and awesome, but I was really impressed with the wind resistance. I have a Mavic Air 2 and I am really tempted to get this one, but wind resistance was one thing I was worried about, but frankly I don't like to take my MA2 out past 30 MPH so if this mini can handle 34 and do all that stuff I'm impressed.

I have a Mavic Air 2 and just bought the Mini 4 Pro - it will be here Thursday. The wind resistance was my biggest concern but like you, I don't really take it out on really windy days, and from what I have seen, the Mini 4 Pro does pretty darn well against the wind. The size/portability, quietness, features, etc. caused me to upgrade.

Pouring rain in NC today, non-STOP I tell ya! Keep thinking bout the Fimi X8SE Rain (and snow!) proof drones, how you grabbed it one day and made Hollywood MAGIC at the parachute drop thing. That was knowledge, skill and equipment all firing perfectly. Makes me want to grab anither Fimi. Until i remember-they aren't really great. And while you can fly, in rain and snow, the resulting video is a flight... in rain and snow. Sigh 😕

Moral of the story is: be yourself. Find your gifts, explore them, develop them, abd share them with the world. Just because you aren't X, and Fimi isn't Mavic 3 Pro, that is what it ISN'T. Now do something with what it IS. THANKS!

I took my Mini 4 Pro out today and lost a lot of faith in it. It wouldn't track a mountain face at all. It just refused to attach an anchor point. I even tried it on something super simple like a bunch of sticks on a level concrete path. It was the easiest thing in the world to track but it just wouldn't. Also the new RC2 controller lost connection 4-5 times in what I would consider another easy situation. I was in an open area with no obstacles in the way to block the signal. Really very disappointed.
