Hello mate, which battery are you using? I bought 4 pro yesterday. First drone.. Love it! Bit nervous about flying this far. Have you known them not to return? or a headwind coming back hammering the battery?

I have the normal battery. The drone does certainly feel the wind, so be sure to turn back when it prompts you to return (perferably before it does) especially when you have a head-wind on the return. Always closely monitor your speed and the level/pitch of your drone, as these are good indications of wind speeds. And remember that the higher you go, generally the wind is stronger).

Thanks, would you say you get a more reliable signal the higher it is?@@jhhobby1980
@jhhobby1980 Жыл бұрын
@@jamesserridge yes generally speaking that is true because the line of sight of the signal will improve. Starting out in an open area helps alot. But also realize that the higher you go the more the (small & light) drone will struggle to combat the stronger winds at altidude. I don't know if the plus battery is legal in your location, but if so I would recommend getting one, the weight will help stabalize your drone and you get a bit more headroom with flighttime and power.

@@jhhobby1980what's wrong with plus battery? how can a batery be illegal?

do you fly with FCC MODEL?
@jhhobby1980 Жыл бұрын
The drone model is the same everywhere, though in the EU where I am located the signal strength is limited by law. So in short this is not FCC signal strength.
