Being that I’m not used to flying a drone, I wouldn’t wait for the next version. I will want to learn on this version. That way when the next generation come out, I’ll be better prepared when flying. Great video!

What a great review! I like that you tested it in real world situations, riding the bike through the woods with his branches, it seem to have done really well for such a little drone, I can see this being a good one to take trips perhaps or on hikes for fun.😊

Hey Chad! Good to see you back with another video review. Well don as always, the NEO does a great job at tracking the subject especially when it looses you for a few seconds, it gets back to it… really nice to see that. Whatever it doesn’t do well now, I’m sure the next reiteration of it will knock it way out of the park. The filters make very little difference for this camera. By the way, that bike has a really nice suspension on it, looks comfy going over bumps. 👍🏻👍🏻

Hey Michael... Pushing out videos has become more difficult over the past year. Hopefully, I can publish more in the upcoming weeks. However, the Neo is pretty good at what it does, and the camera is ok for what it is. We can't expect much for $199. I agree, the next one will be a lot better. Nice to see the filter set up. I've heard the Neo Pro 1 should be around in February 25. What's your take using the motion controller and N3 goggles?

I was using the dji mic version 1. Synced the audio with the Neo footage and applied a little noise reduction.

Hey Chad! Great comparison here. I got the magnetic ND filters. Remember to check when you bump stuff. I gapped a garbage can lid and just tapped it going through and left an ND32 behind! I just learned something about stabilization like Rock Steady and Horizon Balance. They require high frame rates to work well, like action cameras. Slow shutter rates produce artifacts and blurring - that weird action camera look. Solution: Keep EIS off, and Stabilize in post using Gyro Flow - supported by Neo! I got the Air 3S, and I noticed boxes drawn on FACES as well as the big green tracking frame. Perhaps a bit of that Neo AI spilling into Cinimatic drones? We can hope!

Dope video but didn’t use the two most important features. Manual mode and using the controller in the app to fly it. You can also operate the drone with voice commands using EarPodsPro and keep it in the air using the wake word hey fly. Once on the air you say hey fly brake and give it another command all without bringing it bank yo your palm. and the audio from the EarPods sync perfectly without doing any audio sync stuff ..
