Considering it was close to ideal conditions, the battery life test was disappointing. That’s 30% less than the rated time of 18 minutes. With a remote control it would be even less for the transmitting/receiving. Is there enhanced batteries or plus batteries available? As well the pitch of the sound is quite shrill. I’m not sure if this is the right drone after all. Thanks for the test and review though!

No worries at all, the battery life is not as good as the rated time. The noise from the drone is noticeable 😅 Great points. These will be things to improve on with the Neo 2.

With a controller, it will be able to manually take back off and fly all the way to 1%, which would put it to just about 18 minutes. You just have to click cancel on the auto go home mode, then itll only force the auto land at around 2-3%

It's a good little drone. That will be great on follow me for people that are jogging or doing slow cycling. But for walkers it's not doing the front trekking or the side trekking as good as it could not entirely convinced on this one. Could you do another video please where we only see the neo footage and you do another walking video, trying to track from the side and front please?

I had to DJ on you bought for me for Christmas my dad bought it for me really excited but I really felt like but it would have way better battery life even if it was just a half an hour but would be good I feel like that this drone really does not have that good battery life especially when I don't have extra batteries

The battery life is not amazing from this drone but it does the job for short flights.

You might be able to make it work but there is no direct video transfer feature from the Neo with WhatsApp. You would have to try and feed the video feed from the Neo into WhatsApp somehow.
