So glad gyrodata is back! Dynamic range looks better than the Hero 11. I'm starting to regret my Mini 11 purchase. I'll probably get the Action 4 for my 2nd FPV drone. Great review as always! Great plug for the Lansing feet. I had no idea that was a thing. I'll be buying those for my Mini 11.

Action 4 looks great! Also, that is really nice to see them tossing in some lens filters with the full package. I still cannot believe how bad the Hero 11 warping is, just looks like you're walking through a tunnel. Awesome review as always and look forward to seeing your thoughts on it down the road!

The Action 4 looks superb! Yes, the GoPro warps really badly, I'm not a fan of that and it's good DJI is on top of making that look usable. Thank You!

4:40 i couldn’t agree more with on that point Philip! I had countless times when live view could help me a lot.. glad I crushed my hero 10, no camera no irritations 😂😂

Very entertaining review ! Love that they bumped the sensor and as you said im sure go pro 12 is just around the corner maybe with a bigger sensor ? 😆 as long as their batteries last !

Lol, cracked, dirty, and finally totally in need of replacement as I smashed it hard into the edge of the pavement a ton of times on the RC car. Good thing they're replaceable, makes life so much easier! Already ordered new ones.

Well, most of the RC car shots and examples are with a fresh lens. The GoPro vs is with a non-cracked lens too. It's crisp. I like it.

Has anyone else had major problems downloading clips into Final Cut Pro with the Osmo action 4? Apple support says it's not yet supported yet. Major PITA.

I did pick up the new remote from Amazon as DJI told me they don't have any to send out to their collabs, so it's currently showing my end of August, maybe. I will test it out and see if it works with the Action 3, sure!

Fantastic video, but it looks to me, that the image of the Action 4 is more oversharpend and worse looking than the GoPro, but the skintones are better with the Action 4. Iam shure that Dlog is less processed than the normal profile, wich always looks quite bad in every drone or normal camera from DJI.

Thank You!! Really??? The GoPro in my opinion is wildly oversharpened, whilst the Action 4 looks very natural and more cinematic than the GoPro. I used to be a huge fan of GoPro, but the Action has changed my mind, that and the fact that GoPro had stopped listening to its users.

I would say, that you can still see very clearly that it‘s an action cam, if you just focus image quality. For me, the mini 3 pro wich has the same sized sensor has the most natural image, because you can adjust the sharpness and noise reduction. Hope they add that feature to all of their cameras, like the mavic 3, wich has terrible noise reduction issues in 4k.

Yes, an action camera will always look like an action camera due to the sensors size, the fact that everything is in focus and the rather wide view. I think it's cool, I've always loved the GoPro look, and this looks even better. I'm now wondering what GoPro will be dropping, soon.

3:16 I guess you already know that, but the GP11 has a sharpness setting (and imo it produce the most beautiful cine image when set at minimum). With Gopro Lab you can also unlock a Noise Reduction setting.

For me even at min, it still feels way over sharpened, and is nowhere near what I'd call a cine image. I feel the Action 4 is much closer, but you can still see it's an action camera shot from a mile away.
