I avoid his video clips because he behaves too foolishly and distracts me. I struggled a bit to watch this one because I wanted to see what he wanted to demonstrate about sound recording. It doesn't, its about 1/3rd of a stop brighter.I think the purpose of the "lens hood" is for use with ND filters, which now friction fit onto the lens cover/lens hood rather than screwing on instead like on the Action 3.

The extra lens hood maybe good in sunny weather. Have noticed that compared to Gopro's the Action does have some wild lens flare at times. Yet to see a video that shows if the lens hood helps prevent lens flare vs the stock glass lens cover.

Bonjour du Québec. I'm not a fan of the old 4:3 ratio but your explaination convinced me. As of now, I had deals on Hero11 and Action3 (both combo) for a bit of snorkeling. I'm going to keep the action 3 for a few reasons. One of the thing I dislike is you have to install an app and register before being able to use it. Very shaddy...

I just cant take a chance on GoPro anymore - they have all overheated on me during use in my plane and so far the Osmo Action 3’s I own have never overheated and I seem to have better battery life with them. Just received my Action 4 and cant wait to add it to my arsenal.

I got a shoulder strap mount for my backpack in order to edit on my phone with CapCut or something like that Should I stick to 1080 P 30 frames per second or would it be much better to do 2.7 K and what other settings Would you recommend that I could just lock in place and not have to worry about?

Two months ago, I bought an Osmo Action 3, since the beginning it had a focus issue. I took it to the authorized assistance, after inspection by the technician, he found that it had a focus issue, I left it under warranty, after two weeks they returned the camera without fixing it and did not give me another one. Advice, do not buy DJI brand camera, you will lose your money. Thanks
