I have had a Gopro hero 7 for a while now and love it, DJI could have had me but failed to improve on the Hero 7. Get rid of a mic adapter for a start, I think GoPro will do this and knock their socks off with the Hero 8.

SO - first great video. Thanks. Just subbed. :) I bought a GoPro 7 a week ago and took it vacation - no issues, kept it dry. Today - took it Canoeing on lake. Water temp 21.3c and the LENS FOGGED. Took it back to where I bought it and got a full refund. Luckily I had all the accessories with it. I am buying an Osmo action next week. Thanks for the video once again. Top work.

It would be interesting to see how people got to the point of fogging. Most of the time, its swapping batteries, with out brushing the sand off the seal, or pulling cards in the water. It doesn't take but a few random drops to set up a whole eco system in a waterproof case.

I've seen a few KZbin videos to where fogging occurred and yet they had not had the camera in any water whatsoever, wonder if its from the manufacturing process or or during shipment with the high altitude?

@@MichaelKincaiddontroughit You might be on to something with the altitude, but these days, most cargo holds are pressurized, so that is still a reach in my book. I'd be leaning toward loose manufacturing process in place.

Wow, tough call..... I like Hero 7 field of view options the superwide option comes in handy in some shots so I like that it has a few more features.....HOWEVER, I don't think I've had 1 GoPro that didn't have some sort of glitch, including the Hero 7. It would just stop recording for no reason and my Hero Session would just lock up like it was recording but it wasn't and nothing you could do to stop it since it had built in battery so you had to just let the battery die, so annoying. So far the Osmo has not had any bugs and works flawlessly but it's only 2 weeks old so time will tell!

@@brendalg4 It's been a pain trying to get the Osmo to connect with the app here lately which has been frustrating.

I have condensation on my new osmo action ... very desappointed ... No problem the first week but no it's unusable. I will wait tomorrow and give it a last chance. I don't do anything else, just a jump in the swimming pool.

That stinks.... I've had 2 Insta360 Go cameras destroyed with a simple quick dunk in the water.... by far my most favorite camera but hate that they can't handle a splash of water as advertised

It happens in mine, even in the house. They told me to keep it dry. And underwater action camera...keep it dry?
