First real review of this new beginner gimbal. It's got a lot going for it -- and actually beats DJI's up-level OM6 in total tilt range. That's a good thing, yes? No selfie-stick, but not 100% sure that's a bad thing -- as they added a much better battery along with the little screen showing the shooting mode you are in. Overall excellent review -- thanks. As a result I picked one up today. We’ll see how it goes.

@@himsam84 the Mobile 5 and 6 both have an extension rod giving an additional 8” or so of length to the gimbal. They also have a lower battery capacity. It’s all about trade-offs with these consumer-aimed products.

Thanks for the interesting video. In your opinion would it be up to tracking a skiing buddy while we were both skiing down the same slope. I'd be following him at a reasonable distance so the movement between me and him wouldn't be huge. The movement between him and the background would be but you would hope the tracking would ignore that.

I was deciding between this and the Smooth Q4 bundle but decided on the Mobile SE as there was limited availability on the Smooth Q4 anywhere. I used it extensively all last week as we hosted a family reunion and found it was easy to use, super compact and does everything I wanted in a gimbal. The magnetic mount is possibly the best feature. So easy to mount once balanced initially. Remember DJI’s Mimo app is free whereas the Zhiyun’s app has a paywall to get all the functionality. I know that true videographers run with a third party app but they can be very costly. Where the DJI Mimo app is free and remarkably useful - especially for beginners and amateurs alike.

Did u notice that ur phone got REAL hot, REAL quick when using the proprietary app necessary to use this well? Mind u I was only trying to get it set up and work thru a tutorial and the phone(s22 ultra)was so hot I couldn't imagine actually using it for any period of time without running into overheating issues. The set up also wasn't very user friendly for Android users as the app cannot be found in the google store

I bought DJI osmo Mobile 3 and It was not working i asked many times to support but they were wasting my time and I finally thrown in dustbin.customer support in India is very poor .i asked for replacement but they didn't give it was in warranty but after wasting time I lost my warranty period they didn't accept it
