Jack thank you so much for taking your time to help me like this. I never expected such a big youtuber to be bothered at all but you are a gem! I'll try to find that old firmware online, downgrade and then if still no go, sell all my Phantom 3 Pro items (I have a lot!!!) 11/10 for your kindness and here's wishing you a happy and ever more successful 2020.

I have an issue after an accident the Flexible Gimbal Flat Ribbon Flex Cable broke and I ordered a new one and installed it once I install it camera because craze as it in your Video . I tried to do as you did no luck same issue I ordered a new Gimbal Roll Arm & Motor . I installed them but same issue camera is very crazy please let me know if you can help

Hello Jack. I am in Northern Virginia and I just watched your clip for the phantom 3 firmware update. Just like to say that I had a problem but then seen on u-tube this fellow who guided me to the DJI phantom 3 Archives then you can choose which one or how far back you want to go. Take the sad-chip from your camera of the phantom and first format then copy the file that you downloaded then after that, insert into your phantom. Hold down the linking button under the craft and then power up the drone. Don’t let go of the linking button until the little light on the gimble turns green. It will make all kind of noises like the old dot metrics printers used to make and even after the light turns green the noise will continue but green means it is done so power off and turn it back on and now everything is back to the firmware you selected. It works for I tried it on two of mine and perfect. So don’t throw away your phantom 3 or get rid of it! It still a great drone.

I used to reprogram these to fix them. it only worked on the pro gimbals though. it fixed them about 80% of the time

I bought the mavic pro 2 got the license £9 for 3 years I love it it's such a good drone

You can always downgrade firmware by dji assistant, wright?

Hi Jack, love your videos whch have helped me emensly. However I have crashed my phantom 3 standard and don't feel confident to repair it. I have managed to buy replacement parts the hardest of which was the 2.4 ghz internal antenee. Do you still carry out repairs? I have all the parts Regards

Drones in general seem to be getting strict rules!! Here in US there passing a law in 3 years time to band all drones over 250 grams!! From what i heard it's mostly to do with amazon & ups as they have the $ to set this rule as they want to start drone deliveries or something to that affect!!
