I bricked one of these when it forced a firmware update in the field. Will disconnecting the battery completely give the controller a hard reset? It's been sitting in the drawer for quite a while, and yet still has a residual charge, so waiting for it to go completely dead is going to be a looooong wait

If you put the controller in the jaws of a very wide clamp and carefully put pressure on the sides it just pops open. No need to use a spudger, screwdriver or any tools that risk damage, It takes 10 seconds to open. Don't use tools...not necessary at all.

DJI puts in kill software when it thinks certain things have been serviced by non DJI techs. Problem is it gets triggered falsely occasionally.

That's very wrong. On the rc n1 it's the f1 fuse at the bottom of the pcb there known for sudden failure it's allways them

A dog pee on my dron and controller today

pee destroyed usb c cable, with new cable it was connecting and reconnecting all the time, I disassembly it all up to the usb conector, cleaned it with alcohol and a toothbrush inside and the small connector circuit, now it looks like it is working, the cable is death I don't know how pee could kill a usb c cable.
