Hey Billy. I had my 1st flight today with the M30T. Question is, when I'm in camera mode I'm not getting a full screen. I only get full with FPV. Would the camera settings which I think was on 4:3 cause this? I'm not with eh drone right now but I was thinking that may be it. Can you let me know if you get full-screen and if I'm right with regards to 4:3 in stead of 16:9. Thanks for all the great info.

It is if you flash RC Pro firmware, I've done that to mine and it works just fine with the DJI Fly app.

Hi Billy… Is there any possibility of getting one of these to work with my Mavic-3? I have Ankylosing Spondylitis which has fused my spine and most joints and using the RC-Pro is getting a bit too difficult to use. A friend has the M30 at his agency and the remote really makes it possible for me to begin enjoying flight again. The M30 is a bit higher $$ than is can afford, but the remote should doable. Thanks !

First other person (besides Mick Mars) I’ve heard to have Ankylosing Spondylitis! I have same, progressed since diagnosed at 24 (53 now)… Sorry to hear. Exercises won’t cure it (nothing does), but really helps keep things moving longer. Good luck!

Remove the sd card from the drone and install into a computer and they can be retrieved this way. That’s the only way I have discovered so far.

Yes. All the leds are capable of being turned off, as well as the strobe on top and bottom aux lights. There’s a setting called discreet mode that kills all the lights. There is also a setting to turn off the arm lights while taking pictures or videos as well.

Sometimes I pinch the sticks depending on how cold the day is, not sure it's going to work for me without a lanyard, you didn't show the lower end of the controller if it had threaded areas like on the Smart controller? My i2 is for sale at the moment in readiness for the i3 hope this controller comes with the i3 but with some sort of lanyard or cradle. A very exciting times.

This Drone could be the best creation of DJI, and the best Drone ever made! However this Drone has 2 big downsides; 1- You can’t pay $20,000( Australian price of DJI M30T basic kit with DJI care 1 year) in a Drone where the main camera, hardly can turned left and right, I mean when you turned left and right, you can see the arms, propellers, and stuffs, like in the whole frame!!! The main camera should have been able to turned 360 degrees, or at the list 180 degrees in a clean view, only looking for the subject in the frame, specially when it has been “Built/ Made” for first safety responders, like Fire fighters, Police and others!! 2- The main camera should be able to swap for other payload, like P1/L1 and more, specially because it is very compact and great drone with its size and portability! However about swapping the cameras/ payloads, if they haven’t thought about that before realising, at the list they should have made 4 different versions… - First version M30/ M30T, -Second version M30 P1 -Third version M30 L1 -Forth version the Dock one, as it already has been made( but this one it’s specific for companies and stuffs). If the DJI Enterprise Team had thinking about that, it would have been selling just like water bottles!! Specially for many trades out there, and many different industries would benefit from that choice to buy, different needs but in the same Drone, even more special because of those many features like as deploy time, Walter-proof, portability and on!!! *This Controller its the best RC ever made!!!

DEJA VU? As long as this is not another Cendence / Crystal Sky (expensive) waste of time. I love mine, but DJI mislead us as to its ongoing expansion and compatibility. A great screen, ergonomic and lots of buttons and controls (sound like the RC PLUS?). The big problem was the closed system, with no external apps able to be loaded. No ability to to use something like Drone Deploy, unless you use the standard controller. The RC Plus looks just as heavy, but does not seem to have a place to hook the harness which I use all the time on the Cendence.
