This was the most honest type of promotional video I've ever seen from DJI. The shots were real world, they weren't turned into slow motion to look fake smooth (meaning, if you slow motion a handheld shot it still looks smooth...) so this really gave me a feel for what type of footage you get straight out of camera. As a professional, I know how much polishing I can do and am actually looking for that little shake and movement to know if a promo like this is all smoke and mirrors OR if real. This fealt real, so thank you! He was great.

Holy molly, how many haters are on here?? Yes, the footage wasn't perfect. Yes, the way he speaks is annoying AF. Yes, he didn't do a good job. But 90% of the haters would have done worse in those conditions! If you think about it - the footage is usable, looks actually pretty good - NOT out of this world amazing - but good enough to create something pretty cool in post. People's expectations are set so high these days... we've been spoiled with all these perfect shots from other filmmakers and we now expect everyone to be on that level. Y'all need to come back down to earth. Seriously. Great job, Simon! Good for you for getting that gig with DJI!

1. The jib move is cool, but do that with a 1DXmk2 and a heavy Sigma 14mm 1.8 and it won't work with that weight. But with a small setup it's pretty cool. 2. The hyperlapse is not usable with the right/left movement of the gimbal. Is there a way to get it smoother so it moves horizontally very very slow? 3. I'm impressed by the sport mode! Don't know any other gimbal that moves this fast! Good video!

Awesome man. I have tried DJI Osmo mobile 2 in plane at the take off. Surprisingly good results. And on an off road opened jeep it did fantastic job too. It was physically hard to stay in the car and hold a gimbal but shots were very good with minimal shakes. I suggest you could do off road jeep too in similar situation.

Why does the timelapse look laggy and not smooth at all ?
@proyectozonda6 жыл бұрын
Sandro Thiele probably because of shutter speed I guess
@sandrothiele97896 жыл бұрын
Daniel Vidal so you don't think it's a software problem of the gimbal?
@proyectozonda6 жыл бұрын
Sandro Thiele imho seems to me more a shutter speed or other config but I can be wrong
@John694206 жыл бұрын
its definetly not a shutter issue

A longer shutter (increased blur) and shorter interval (higher FPS) would smooth it out quite a bit.
