Hi Guys I said that I will let you know my comments after apply these settings. These configuration was fine bat I did some modification to have what I want. In fact It was basic configuration was training by the author. I suggest all to have this basic configuration before do any things. Thanks the author for this tips.

Excellent video! Thank you for sharing your settings. I have a question about the Ronin S. I just unboxed mine and have been setting it up and practicing with it. I've noticed a very faint sound (like a spinning fan sound) coming from all three motors. It's not loud at all, and I have to put my ear up to the motor to really hear it...but I'm wondering if that is normal. It's perfectly balanced and my camera setup shouldn't be too light. Just curious to see if you knew if this was normal or not. Thanks again!

Hi Landon, thanks for your feedback. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Ronin-S. I have had the Ronin-S for about 5 months now, but I have never noticed what you describe regarding the sound coming from the motors. Mine are completely quiet. Can you hear that sound on your audio? If so, I'd check with DJI directly to see whether or not this is normal. If you can't hear anything on your video files, I wouldn't bother too much about it. Sorry I can't be of more help at the moment. Cheers Matthias

I have the same sound on mine. It’s the motors working. No matter how balanced, the motors are receiving power and are somewhat active in balancing therefore the sound. I have an Osmo mobile and I hear a sound less fainter than the ronin but it’s still there. Just because it’s a smaller motor.

It could be the fans coming from the motors. I have that same sound on my OSMO unit and as soon as I hit the record button, they stop spinning and I don't hear it.

Any way to update or clarify after the most recent firmware update? The whole interface changed a bit and terms like Smooth Track no longer exist. For example, no way to turn off push roll and Smooth track under the roll setting in user 2 mode. I am probably missing something.

Hi Dave, no that should not happen. I would try to reinstall the most current firmware update and see if that helps. The settings should stay as you define them until you decide to change them again. Let me know if reinstalling the firmware helps. Thanks.

i notice my gimbal never go back to the middle. i find myself often having to double tap trigger a lot. is this normal???

Thanks for your comment. I don't think its meant to go back to the exact middle after everyone of your moves. In my opinion that's exactly why the have integrated the double tab trigger so you can recenter the gimbal. I think that's quite normal and I use the trigger myself a lot.

if you want to lock the movement while shooting, then hold the trigger while shooting, this will restrict movement

settings don't line up with Android version, things are in a different location. Not sure if this is how the ios app is as well, but you should probably update the video

For some reason in my mode 2 Smoothtrack settings, I only have the Smoothtrack and Push Tilt sliders and don't have any of the Speed, Deadband and Sensitivity options visible in the Tilt menu? Also, when I come back to the settings they seem to have changed back to how they were before I changed them....

Hmmm... that sounds weird and definitely not normal. Have you checked if you're running the most current firmware update on your ronin s? Maybe reinstalling the most current firmware update will help solving that problem. Worth a try I would say.

Yeah, I think that's a good idea if you haven't tried that yet. It might help. If not, I would try to contact DJI directly through their website. I know it's annoying and takes a lot of time, but it might be your only option to find out what is wrong with your gimbal. Hope the reinstallation of the app will help though.

You should be able to reset all the setting to the factory presets in the DJI App.

theres new update for ronin s that allows you push m button and trigger twice and that uses sports mode check out the updates for ronin s also van you use Sony swell now with there lead you have to buy wooohooo
