That is amazing! I already thought Sparkie is a yesterday´s heroe, but it isn`t. Works very, very well and is exactly what I´ve been looking for. And it´s comparable cheap to other more sophisticated drones. Think I will buy one. Thanks from Kiel, Germany for the good work.

In video editing software you decide on the output format, so if you say you want the output to be 4K, you can then toss a 1080p video onto the 4K timeline and it becomes 4K.

Hey Captain Drone, great video and I love the spark! I have a parrot Anafi now, which also does great follow me mode, has great battery, 4K video, quiet in flight, will work well in cold climates and also works with barometer in phones, so is great for downhill / uphill follow me situations even without the controller! I’m taking the anafi skiing in March.....Quick question on the spark video - how many batteries were used in the spark making this video? Thanks 👍🏻

Another great video and once again you were the only one out braving the cold! Curious how many batteries you went through, especially with the low temps. It is just a special type of Velcro. I have it on all my DJI controllers and the back of the Crystal Sky. It is made out of plastic nips and the two just snap together. You can see it near the end of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6poqV8mtaonbc

Great video, I would have imagined you would have done it with just a phone as it should be able to do that which would make you go even "smaller" :D I dont have a spark do have no idea how stable it is with just the phone. I know the range is shorter but I would imagine for the stuff you did here it would not really matter ?
@CAPTAINDRONE7986 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert. With a phone the range is at most 80 to 100 meters, from where it takes off. With a controller the range is maximized as seen in the vid.

What I like most is that you still love the Spark. You fly with all kind of drones, like the several Mavics but still you emphasize the quality of the Spark. I own a Spark and 'till this day I am amazed of the ease of use, the stability, the quality of the vid, the speed in sport mode and more. For newcomers in this pricerange it is not easy to step in, the Spark still is a real pain for those who try. One question CD: Did the batteries do well? Could you fly this trip with one or did you change batteries on every corner (together with renewing the props after an encounter with the trees?. :D

Very impressive video. I really like the Active Trac mode. One question, what was the temp in Fahrenheit? Reason I ask today my Son in Law and I took my new Spark out for its first flight. The temp here in Central Iowa was 29 Degrees no gloves dummies! We lasted right at 2 batteries total time was about 15 to 18 mins on new freshly charged Batteries. Not sure if the cold played a part because it was in their house with us until we went to fly and even then the batteries stayed in the heated SUV. So it just made me wonder. Now I was wearing my official Captain Drone Hoodie so I guess you were on the brain while we were out, LOL! If you did use more than 1 battery what was your total flight time? It was cold but it was fun to go out and finally fly again. Video was great so smooth until Sports Mode but my Son in Law handled it like a race Drone. I was very impressed with his skill. I will have a video coming soon I hope. Thanks as always!
@CAPTAINDRONE7986 жыл бұрын
I am amazed to hear that the Captain Drone Hoodie didn't extend your flight times!!!! I will be speaking with the manufacturing about this. In my video I used 2 batteries. But, I did not notice any less flight duration because since the Spark batteries are small in size, I could keep them in my jeans pockets and keep them warm. If you place a warm battery on a cold drone, you should then receive very close to normal flight times. The temp in my video was around 23 Fahrenheit.

Nice job capt. Question, does the dji air bring more capability for the price difference? Would it make a better hiking drone? Would love to see it demoed at the same location.
@CAPTAINDRONE7986 жыл бұрын
The Mavic Air is a much improved Spark. It has obstacle avoidance on the rear, has 4K video and a full 3 axis camera gimbal, it can fly longer and farther & it has a few more automated camera flight modes. The only negative is that it is noisy, so if you took it hiking and no one is around, then perfect, but if you fly it anywhere in the vicinity of humans, they will find it annoying.
@robertescriba43946 жыл бұрын
I love the spark, but i recently watched your video about the Anafi, which is always compared to the Mavic Air in many videos. But I am really hesitating between the spark and the anafi, for hiking and others outdoors activities. Here in France, both prices are close. For example, could you tell us wich one has the best video quality ? All the best for the new year 2019
@CAPTAINDRONE7986 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert. The best video quality between the two belongs to the ANAFI. Happy New Year!
