Wow great video Steve. I really appreciate all the help and support my good man. You are an amazing pilot and an amazing teacher. You inspired me to keep up on my channel Sir. I will never forget when you told me to keep up the good work and the subscribers will come with time. Well Steve you are correct Sir. My channel is growing and I am getting more subscribers everyday. Thank you so much for the encouragement my man. Also I do have these propellers as well and I absolutely love them. By the way my Dji Mavic 2 Zoom and my Dji Mavic Air had a baby and I got my Dji Spark. Watching you fly this baby drone made me get one. I wanna thank you from the heart for everything and all the kind words and support. Thanks again for everything. Love you brother. Thanks for all you do and please keep flying.

I’ve gotten great flights so far out of my Anbee props but be sure to always inspect them before you install them. My last set I bought off amazon, one of the props was missing BOTH screws that hold the blades to the center piece. Obviously It wouldn’t have flown that way, and my have just been an anomaly, but just something to think about. DJI props included.

I wonder if you could find tri-blade props for DJI drones to see if it would make the drone and camera more stable. I know they all have stabilised gimbals with vibration pads, but I wonder if tri-blade props would reduce the load on the gimbal's motors.

Thanks again for all your VIDEO'S. FYI - Just bought the new Master Airscrew low noise PROPS. They are allot lower in pitch and have a more deeper side cut. It seems more stable in flight and seems to ascend faster. Maybe the reason is they are "One Piece". Available in multiple colors too. Personally I think the high pitch is what birds hate & attracts them like honey. I think the Plus's outweigh the Negative's. Give them a try & see what you think. Thanks Again.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you give me your opinion of this propeller one year later? Are a good idea? Or better we can go for the original
@SteveCoutts4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I have had no issues using these propellers with my Spark and the propellers are still on my Spark performing perfectly. However, there are a few things to consider. One, the “Anbee” brand isn’t really a brand at all. I see the same propellers under many different brand names, likely all coming out of China. So given that, quality may vary but again, my experience has been all good. Two, DJI will not cover any damage or loss covered by using third-party accessories with your Spark, including propellers. Of course, this may not matter because I’m sure most Sparks are long since out of warranty. Three, the Spark, I think, is overpowered so sub-standard props won’t be much of an issue but the DJI Mavic Mini on the other hand is very finicky about props. So, when in doubt, stick with OEM DJI parts or go with a solid, more trusted brand like Master Airscrew. Cheers!

I made a purchase on amazon for green props. They were no good the first set I got. Contacted the manufacturer they sent out another set and they were worse then the first set. If the manufacturer of these props You show here come out with green I am all over them and purchase them on the spot! The quality of these are top compared to the ones I bought. Great video as always...

Good morning there team Steve, they look very cool indeed, trying to find something like these for the Air, something that would not only look funky, but bring down the noise a little, seen a couple on youtube with not very good reviews so the search goes on. Catch you on the next one.

Thanks! Yeah, there are certainly lots of options out there but not all are created equal. These ones worked very well in my testing and for the most part got great reviews.
@MarcRCAddict6 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, great video thank you mate.. These props sound good, as another guy pointed out though one thing people have to worry about is the fact the aftermarket props void the warranty so if it crashed when they are used don't tell dji or they will not help.. Also its not so much the quality of the plastic prop you have to worry about, its the quality of the pins that hold the probs in that can be the issue, I've have some great looking third party props but the back side (not the big flat top side) look a bit suspect and the molding is not great, so I'll be doing a proper torture test on the pins before putting them on my spark.. I know £20 a set of blades might sound expensive compared to £5 a set of blades, but they are keeping a £500 drone up in the air, I would definitely rely more on original then third party ones, I do really wish dji made some different colour props, they would be a huge seller.. 😀 Happy flying all. ATB Marc 👍
@SteveCoutts6 жыл бұрын
Good points Marc! I didn't even consider the warranty issue at all. I am long past warranty with my Spark and by the time the average flier needs new props (save major crashes), they will likely be beyond warranty too. Still though, good thinking! Great points about the pins too! I guess time will tell if they have the durability/reliability of the DJI ones. And yeah, I totally agree, DJI would make a killing with coloured props. 👍😀
@MarcRCAddict6 жыл бұрын
Steve Coutts hi Steve, your welcome bud.. yeah same here mate my spark is out of warranty too I did a drone swap and got my spark. I’ll order some ambee props and compare them to the third party props I bought and see if the pin and moulding around the pins are any better quality. I look forward to your next video buddy. Happy flying 👍

When you transport your spark do you take off the propeller and add a gimbal guard ?? Also wanted to ask if you protect it somehow with a cover thanks 🙏🏼
@SteveCoutts6 жыл бұрын
I don't take the propellers off but I do use a gimbal cover. I always put it gimbal up and belly out in my pack and put some cushion underneath, like a pair of rolled socks. So far that has worked just fine for me. 😀

I have been out as low as -10 Celsius. Most of my winter flying in closer to 0 to -4 Celsius. No real problems but I'm sure it's one of those things where "your mileage will vary" depending on many factors. Best advice is just keep things warm before and in between flights. Good luck!

Hey. I am also dji spark pilot. I am facing a strange issue with my spark and rc. When I connect rc and spark with mobile and start taking of the spark flies up and suddenly comes down as if motors are off. But then again start hovering in the air. This happens sometime. Is this something related with calibration of spark?
@SteveCoutts5 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I have noticed a somewhat similar issue where I take off and it's like the Spark doesn't have the power to maintain flight, it kind of hesitates, not wanting to fully lift off from my hand. It quickly recovers and flies normally though. I has not happened frequently enough for me to have spent the time to try and figure it out. It doesn't drop suddenly like you suggest, more of a sluggishness at start. I guess to answer your question, I don't really have an answer for you. Perhaps that is a good question for the DJI forums. Lots of helpful, friendly and knowledgeable folks there - forum.dji.com. Good luck!

I got a question I really hope someone can answer: How do I make a custom controller mode? I can only choose between Mode 1, 2 & 3. Mode 3 is pretty good., but I'd really like to tilt the right stick down to gain altitude and tilt it forward to drop altitude. It feels more natural when flying at faster speeds.

@SteveCoutts6 жыл бұрын
Cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged propellers should be replaced immediately. DJI says otherwise they should be replaced annually. I suppose that could depend on how much you fly. It is a good idea to inspect them from time to time though because the little clips that hold them in place can be broken and you may not even know until the prop comes flying off. 😀
