@@JosephDT No. literally look up what people like Wilander, Becker, etc say. Nadal has 21 slams. More than ur hero. Also, ur hero is 3-6 at the US OPEN! A hard court slam. Embarrassing. An open era record for most finals lost at the tournament. Hard court goat losing six us open finals. Meanwhile, true goat Nadal is 4-1. Also, Nadal beat Federer at his prime at Wimbledon. Something djokovic never ever did. Djokovic beat old Federer at Wimbledon and got beaten by old Federer once. Djokovic needed Nadal injured in 2015 to stat pad clay. Djokovic 2011 was impressive, but once Nadal adapted to him in 2012, it was back to normal. In 2015, he needed Nadal injured to stat pad clay, but got clobbered by wawrinka in rg finals. Couldn’t even vulture RG 2015.

@@JosephDT u never even replied to most of my comments. Djokovic beat Nadal a lot during his bad years of 2015/2016. Where did novaxx go into hiding in 2017? Djokovic doesn’t have a gold. Nadal does. Djokovic himself said an Olympic gold is like a 5th slam. Djokovic also has 12 hard slams out of 20 slams. Also, I literally said what weeks at one is not as important as u make it out to be. The tour is hard court centered, so people whose best surface is hard will get more weeks at one. Basic logic. If the tour was clay centered, Nadal would have the most weeks. That is how it works. ELO is also such a flawed stat with horrible calculations. I’m a math person, and I understand that ELO is flawed. It gets horribly inflated at times. Not a stat. Djokovic barely won at Wimbledon 2018 and he relied on a roof to win. A roof on a perfectly sunny day. Djokovic just got beaten by veseli in straights. U guys are so arrogant to assume he would win AO. I could care less about Nadal having a atp finals title when he has two Olympic golds. I mean if he gets it, it adds to his resume but he an Olympic gold which is something djokovic won’t get. Got pimp slapped by Zverev and Pablo carreno busta back to back 😂😂. Again, please stop using the word “rape”, u piece of human trash. Djokovic would be disappointed to have such a rabid fan like u using these kind of words. He has 1 masters more than Nadal and golden masters. Which is a good record. But that definitely doesn’t outweigh a grand slam. Grand slams are the main dish. Everything else are side dishes.

@@pranprabhukar3291 only a deluded person can come up with this nonsense. count the GS finals and overall GS h2h when Djokovic became Djokovic in 2011, let's see who is leading then. because when djokovic stll struggled with his celiac issue and asthma, he wasn't able to perform at his full potential which changed after he took care of that. Djokovic spanked the so called "king of clay" in 2011 while Nadal was at his best, and if it wasn't for Federer beating Djokovic in the semis at the FO that year with the help of god, that would've been the dagger for Nadal in 2011. Even at his best in an Australian Open, Nadal didn't manage to beat Djokovic! Since 2011, Nadal has managed to beat Djokovic ONLY twice on hardcourt (and that being favorable hard-courts for Nadal). Imagine that!!! And on clay? Let's not start, not comparable. But go ahead, go count up all the times Djoko has beaten Nadal on caly since 2011. Both in RG and outside of RG. And if Nadal didn't lose to lesser players, specifically on hard-court and grass tournaments, Djoko would've riled up the h2h to 35+ by now! Nadal even in his best and prime years couldn't win a WTF and other tournaments during his career, meaning there was always players who were better than him on certain courts! Djokovic has won all the tournaments one can win, and that twice, you fool! Djokovic is a far greater threat and challenge to Nadal on his prefered condition/court than vice versa, and all of that in their primes! Djokovic has won vs better players, more top 10 players, and looking at the fact that winning many hardcourt as well as grass tournaments is way more difficult and harder due to more quality and tougher competition, it speaks for itself what is more impressive to achieve! Your so called fake goat Nadal couldn't beat the best players on the most demanding and challenging tournaments, in that category he even fails against Roger, yet you dare to even put him above Novak?! You're beyond help. You're so desperate to make a case for Nadal that you even include a doubles title which doesn't matter at all. this is singles, not doubles. Where was Djokovic in 2017? Casual much? Be happy that Djokovic lost 2 years because he relied on natural remedies instead of taking the surgery when he should've. Yet he still came back after the surgery and started dominating again. The ATP trying very hard since covid to overshadow Djokovic. Cancelling Wimbledon, restrictions all over the place. Even that won't help your little Nadal, he will still be overtaken and crushed by Djokovic and you have to witness it and come up with excuses and weird fantasies to cope with the truth.. but you're apparently just some useless street-shitter, what can be expected from such an animal.

Looking at all these misses you wouldn't think he is regarded as the GOAT of the sport. And yet 24 slam titles and 40 Masters 1000 titles later, he's still missing probably half of his overheads. He would NOT stand a chance if he played in the era of wooden racquets and where overhead smashes were common.

Yeah, you’re right. He did make the ones that mattered, but his net game is sorely lacking compared to the greats of the previous eras. I’d say even Murray’s net game is better than his. He is a great player, but this is a weakness in his game (one that I would argue he as improved on over the years). Nadal and Federer have missed overheads too, but it's usually much rarer and only really happens once or twice during a single match. Djokovic tends to miss overheads more frequently and in more crucial moments. One of the clips from this video was from Roland Garros in a crucial match. It shows that under pressure, the Djokovic smash is relatively weak compared to other top players. His weak net game (for a top player mind you) also explains why Novak is not that strong of a doubles player. It's very fortunate that the rest of his game is really solid, because it makes him a hell of a singles player.
@yanair2091 Жыл бұрын
You can't really say Novak is "weak net player", especially not right after you stated that his smash is relatively weak. His overhead smash is absolutely weak whereas he is excellent on the net. It's just that net is not his primary strength and could (and has been) improved.@@shouryamukherjee9854
