Dave, you and Jordan worked like a well-oiled machine, and on a Sunday as well!! The fence looks great also. Work isn't hard when you all get on and know who's doing what. You're very lucky with your staff and you let them know how appreciated they are. Top company and boss.

I agree with Stevie that the new timber is a far superior finish to it and would look beautiful with just a clear coating on it. Dave as usual just motoring on in the digger with his crushing and screening. Sunday is always the best time as no interruptions and get plenty done.👍

See with the Venetian fencing, looks smart. I have seen some people do staggered row joints (like you would do if laying wooden flooring) which can to the eye make the whole fence look as one. But either way it’s a very contemporary choice that can really lift the look of a garden.

Nice fence, have you ever thought of staggering the planks to get rid of the harsh join line? I think that would be next level 👍
@skippytrader

How about putting a vertical lath on the posts to cover the joins on the horizontal rails. It would give the fence a sort of panel look. Just a suggestion.

That fence looks fantastic ste, everyone has a different way of finishing a fence like that, I think if the posts was painted in a black fence preserve and the slats painted in an anthracite, it would look amazing, dave that crusher bucket must be worth its weight in gold, another fantastic episode lads, ❤

Hello chaps, loved that fence, I wouldn't want to look at that green one either, there's a lot of 'no man's land' between the fences though, seems a waste. Is it an alley? Top soil is top notch. Lots of good work chaps, been with you for four years, cant believe how the time flies, do we get a long service award? Best wishes Christine x

*Good morning D and J family* 👌🌄🌄 That yard set up is really *superb* ....the new machine is paying for itself already. I love the crusher and the trommel. Reminds me of "Gold rush" on discovery..... Id love to get set up there ... I can understand the situation with the height change but i also know the frustration from a construction perspective but at least its *early on in the project* ! The "hit & miss" fencing is top notch though!! I honestly can't Can't believe its 4 years !! Wow 😳 thats flown. Many things have changed on *both our sides* during this time but I'm glad to still be here enjoying the vlogs and *still looking forward to them* . Without you i wouldn't have found the Struggler, Everytrade , Spitfire , Brock stone, Welderfabber, Daines lowe, B and P... and a whole host of others ....so *THANK YOU* for enriching my life. Gary 🙏

Dave I just wanted to share a concern with you, while you are doing these videos you are sharing the info on here. Hi Stevie, Dave and all the guys at D&J. I have been watching your videos for the last two years and am captivated in seeing what a great job you do. Every time I think you're going to fall short of your high standards you manage to push the bar up even higher. I love the way you make the customer and their neighbours your top priority and they should all be really grateful to you all. How I wish we had a trader or business with the same work and customer ethic where I live. Your genuine and honest approach to your work really is commendable and I look forward to seeing the next video this coming Sunday. Big applause to you all 👏👏👏

The fence install, Looks nice but why don't you stagger the horizontal beams like brick work. Surely it would soften the sections and not look like sections and look more like one whole fence also possibly add more strength. Just my opinion and how I would ask for you to do it. Keep up the good work 👍🏽

Great fence install, covered that awful green fence. On another point though, why persist with the cheaper end of the market for power tools, and 240v corded tools at that. Either go for good quality battery tools or for the safety of your employees use 110v corded power tools, especially when used outdoors in wet environments.

Dave, great leaders don’t just tell people what to do-they show them how it’s done. Your leadership is more than just guidance; it’s an example for others to follow. Your dedication and commitment inspire those around you to rise to their full potential. Through your actions, you create a culture of excellence, teamwork, and perseverance. You lead with heart, purpose, and a standard that challenges your team to be better every day. 👍 Let me know if you’d like to personalize it further!
