Nice gig log! The Chauvet wash fx looks real good. But im wondering why you dont use moving heads? Im thinking about buying the focus spot 4z's and use them for all of my gigs on novopro xxl podiums :)

Its not a question of why I dont use them. Its that couple don't opt for them. 75 percent of our weddings down here say they dont need lighting and we manage to sell them on basic wash fx2 lights. Its not common to find them here

Great gig log ! great gear, great setup, very happy to see you back at work. My only criticism would be with so much amazing gear - I would have speakers on both sides of the ceremony stage, but I'm probably nitpicking :) One question though - how are the lights attached to the speakers - without damaging them I presume ? Thanks...

You just use the little M10 nuts that are screwed into the top of the speakers for that purpose (Or for flying the speaker) Just unscrew them and screw your light fixing onto the top using the M10 nuts, they are on most decent quality speakers. I have them on my EV EKX range, might want to use rubber washers that will also protect your speaker and not affect sound in any way too :)

Do you ever use lapel mics at the ceremony? I am having a helluva time finding a wireless bodypack that doesn't cut out during the ceremony. I have the Sennheiser XSW 2 ME3 setup. It works awesome when I sound check, then goes to hell during the ceremony.

Glad to see DJ's getting back into gigs. I will be loading only 2 EV 12" and maybe 2 Wash lights for the small gigs, charge the client less, in and out Fast. Hey, I live in Brooklyn, NY and have to climb 2 flights of stairs with gear. I am an Old Guy...LOL.

DJ Rick Web Don’t think you understood my question.... here in California, we can only do ceremonies. No receptions with dinner and dancing. Some vendors in the area are breaking the rules with 200 guest and county is giving them fines. I didn’t see any social distancing or face masks, during your video clip, so I thought it might be from before the virus.

Current times my friend. But no restrictions are in place unlike california the southern states only have recommendations in place. No mandatory restrictions and there is no enforcement of anything.
