Hey, thanks for the video. The one thing about ShowXpress is that there are multiple ways to do anything. I used to create step scenes, then learned the efficient way to use the generator (even for pars ot is much faster), and eventually to just pixel map all of my pars. As for strobes, you don't have to create buttons at all, you can just use the live sliders on the right side to flash when you want to. If you do create strobe buttons I recommend setting them with the flash property so that they go off as soon as you release the button. Do you have any videos on the Chauvet Scorpion RGB ILS and the Scorpion RGBY? We have showxpress but cant seem to get anything built in except for light beams for the RGBY. We can't get anything set up for the RGB ILS Scorpion. Getting very frustrated and would love some guidance!

Can you do colors and chases seperately? Then you can mix and match colors, chases and strobes. i have been trying with Freestyler but somehow i can't get it to work. Plus with the Mega Hex 222 is a better strobe, more random (i have 4 of them myself)

Probably can do that but it would be in the pixel or generator. I can ask doug over at SLM. He is more advanced on it then me. I know he does it in avolites

In Freestyler it should be possible with submasters but the cues go automaticly to the next scene and i want them to loop so i can select them manuallly. So i've been thinking about changing over to Chauvet or another program. If i can't Freestyler to work (even with your previous vids years back) maybe it's Freestyler and not me :D

Depends. If you have a pre-made set you can set up the strobs with timelibe. Otherwise all manual.

You can use the generator to make some very cool fades and changes with colors/shutters. And also stagger them to have an amazing effect. You can use curves from pan/tilt also like crown. But sine waves/points/lines are probably your best bet.

The problem of these softwares is that they work only with their proprietary interface... if you want an open solution try freestyler or qlc+. I prefer the second because the developer is an Italian engineer

I used QLC in the past and switched to Sunlite/Compushow . Day and night, qlc looks like this chauvet program, like for kids or people with 0 idea, step up to sunlite and you won’t regret
