I'm so amazed at how easy it is to work on Arrma vehicles. Parts are plentiful, easy to identify and cheap to buy. If something breaks, you can have a replacement part the same day (with a trip to your local hobby shop) or within a week if ordered online! Many Arrma cars share the same parts as their other models, for example, the Typhon shares many parts with the Big Rock Crew Cab! 💥💥💥POW!!! -djsoulforce!

Great job DJ, thank you. I don't think I have ever told you but like 30+ years ago I was into RC cars. We had a ball, we made a track with 3 different courses. Back then it was always a hassle just to race 6 cars at the same time. We had a box full of different crystals (frequencies) so everyone could race. Maybe it's time to get back into it lol Stay safe my friend.

No, you never told me that. With the soon to come, new FAA rules and control over drone flights, now may be a good time to get back to r/c's! What's next?? I'm using a motor from a ZD Racing ZMT-10 Monster Truck that I had laying around. The receiver is the DumboRC from Banggood.com. All other car parts I got from www.AmainHobbies.com. At AmainHobbies, you can search for a car or truck, then check for optional parts for that vehicle! Good luck, thanks for watching!!!

@xxg0t3mxx4 жыл бұрын
Just popped a 3660 3300kv 60a in my senton gonna change the spur assembly tomorrow if I can find one. And running a 17t pinion on 3s should make it scoot! Any suggestions mine was 91t spur and dropping down to a 57 should make it not break as easy right?
@DJSOULFORCE4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you're right. In my final upgrades, I changed the pinion & spur gears out to the same found in the stock Arrma Granite 3S BLX. To make it fit properly, I had to use the Arrma adjustable motor mount - not the one with pre-drilled holes for mounting the motor. Good luck, thanks for watching!!!
@xxg0t3mxx4 жыл бұрын
@@DJSOULFORCE you could have slotted the original motor mount and achieved same goal. But I'm sure the metal plate came in handy for extra support thank you

Also after using my surpass 3300kv and 60a esc combo 10 seconds smoked the esc lol so I bought a hobby wing 120a esc and same motor on 3s she's fast! Kept 17t pinion and original spur no breaks yet been bashing 2 days now. Going tomorrow or Tuesday for a new rc car would love some suggestions!
