The rubber "burper" on the aircleaner is called a duck billed valve and is used in other applications too, such as vacuum function marine heads (toillets). One way flow.

I dont think mike is sure what 540E is. Unless the pto has two gear ratios I dont think the DK10SE series has 540E. But they use the same gauge cluster from the larger tractors that do.

Thanks for a great video! Please help. My front axle fluid came low from the factory. One video on here says the front axle fluid is a break-in fluid. What fluid do I add to bring the level to normal on this new tractor if this is a "break-in fluid"? My dealer does not know and the manual does not mention a break-in fluid anywhere that i can find. thanks again!
@LSE_TRACTOR3 жыл бұрын
Mr. Partin, the front axle does not come with any sort of break-in oil. It uses 80w90 gear oil. Any brand.

One of your best videos yet! Assuming you run your tractor at 2600 RPM, how often will it regen and can you use the tractor during the regen? How long does the regen process last? Thanks again for a great video.
@LSE_TRACTOR5 жыл бұрын
If you run it at 2600 RPM's, it is very possible that it will never need a manual regen. And thank you! for the kind words.
@LSE_TRACTOR5 жыл бұрын
I forgot to reply to your other question...a manual regen takes 15ish minutes.
@asmodai67595 жыл бұрын
Steven, I usually run mine at the ePTO speed, and after 100 hours, it has regened three times. Last time during brush hogging, and other than a change in engine noise I didn't notice it effecting performance at all. For some reason people seem to be scared of the regen function but it isn't a really big deal.

@@asmodai6759 It can be a big deal and I have seen it cause significant downtime in my father's tobacco operation. There is a process that he uses the tractor to carry and run a spray that people walk with and manually spray the stalks of each plant individually. This is a slow process. We have always run the tractor at idle and creeped through the field. A couple of years ago, he leased a tractor that had a regen system. During ground engaging work at high engine speed, it never caused a problem. Once July rolled around that tractor was used exclusively for spraying. There were several times that it would refuse to work because it needed a regen cycle and one time the dealer had to come reset the system. This is a big hit to the bottom line when you are paying employees to wait on the tractor.
