I almost bought a lower powered tractor for my "hobby farm" use because of this very issue, but after so many positive reviews like this one decided to order a 45hp unit. I have huge boulders to move and wanted the higher capacity loader on the DK series.

On tier 4 motors, keep your RPM's higher then classic diesels. All the conditions that make alot of black smoke in old diesels, like running cold, or running at low rpm, still happen in tier 4 motors. they just capture the suit, and have to clean the dpf more often. Most tier 4 owners experience better, longer regen cycles with RPM's kept higher then tradional diesels. We prefer not to idle very much like we used to. I personally run at Econo PTO RPM on my RX 7320, and that seems to be really good for it. Turbo's change where the torque curve is on the power chart, and these newer motors don't like a slow idol as much. Just an FYI for new Tier 4 owners. P.S. Love my Kioti RX 7320! I'd buy it again!

Sparkeee1978 makes sense Sparkeee in that a warm motor running faster would have better combustion with fewer particles exhausted. However the faster running engine would wear out faster would it not? Another utuber with a different brand of Korean tractor I think had a lot of trouble with DPFs & regen. The engine was in limp mode and had no power. Kioti tractors are in Australia and seem pretty good. The main qualities I’m looking for in a tractor is ease of use and reliability. Kioti has it plus a competitive price. It’s great to hear you are happy with your tractor.

Great Vid.. Thanks... Not much info on this at all online from Kioti (or in the owners manual). Would be great if you could do an add on video on what the lights mean (blinking, steady), and if it will regen automatically while running (you quickly referenced this in the video), but not clear if it is truly automatic or if you need to push the regen button. The manual is not real clear at all.

I was wondering why the Kioti RX7320 has a significantly smaller engine than similar brands at that horsepower. It has a 2.4 liter while others seem to have 3 & 3.5 liter engines-they’re turbo’d too. Logic would say that the smaller engine is under more stress. I’ve only heard good things about Kioti and in fact am about to buy a 7320.

Hey Marshall, Can you tell us how good the daedong engines are built and life expectancy in hours. I currently own a kioti 2610 and always wonder how long it will last before I will need to rebuild it. Also will the hydro transmission that is linked to the 26 horse engine last as long? Are you all seeing Kioti tractors with alots of hours without problem. Please give us a testimony of what you have seen on the kioti longevity. Thank You!

The real question is, can the dpf and erg be deleted without messing up the programming??

Only the CK3510 and CK4010 in the CK series have DPF, thankfully and why I got the CK2610, mechanical pump and no DPF, perfect candidate to turn the pump up and even better, install a small turbo being the 3A165 Daedong engine is detuned from factory yet that little 3 cylinder engine is designed to produce 34 HP 😀

Putting an EGR on any diesel engine is just asking for trouble and how do you clean the intake valves on a direct injection engine? More problems down the road.
