DK's O Gauge Trains - Lionel's Pennsy Special featuring Pennsy F3's ABA and matching Passenger Cars

As the title suggests, this video highlights my Lionel Pennsylvania RR F3's in ABA configuration. it is pulling a mixed bag of revenue and passenger cars. This is the "Neil Young Edition" boxed set issued in 2013 .

I agree. It is a great set. My only complaint, I wish it had the 18” passenger cars, not the 15”. However, even the 15” look pretty good. I also have the Neil Young Texas Special set. I plan to make a video of that set soon. Thank a for the kind words.

Real nice layout. How do you get your ground color? Is that sawdust? Love the tall tress as well!

Thanks! My ground cover is actually foam. It varies from very fine to course. I use Woodland Scenics brand but there are a lot of others. Most of the tall trees are over 30 years old. I made them from wood dowels and Caspia fern glued to the dowel. After all the years, they are extremely delicate. I hate to touch them. Check out Scenery Express. They have a lot of different ones. Hope that helps.

Hey Travis. It already has one. I had the sounds turned off. Those cars are the shorty 15” guys. I do not run them a lot. I wish they had the 18” cars.

Watching this video, makes me feel like i'v waisted my life, this model rail roading looks like a great hobby, especially when you can build of a preticular era, if i had or could i would love to build one for the 1950's in and around los angeles, a combo of diesel and steamers, and i also love how they have that big horn or whisle sound, i'm guessing they use blue tooth speekers?

I hate he did'nt have the santa fe super cheif EMD's i feel that colour com bo of the souper chief by far is one of the prettiest design's ever. The war bonet and thoe's bull nose engines was quite a site to be seen, though i had never seen one until i got to take a train back in the 60's. I was so excited i could hardley sleep the night before the cross country trip, i'd stayed in the window to get a look at the engine every time we whent in to a turn, so i could get a look at that majestic engine, the first night i was up all night just to get a good look,
