DK fights like a learner. He's not composed and makes noob mistakes every time I see him. His body doesn't look like he's putting the effort in either I see big guys that can move but that's not what he's even going for. He's self proclaimed "Modern Bruce" or whatever and that's just offensive. No diet, very little exercise. Sometimes you need to work out until you throw up but he looks like he never skips a meal. I'm heavy into programming and sit ten hours a day and somehow have better conditioning. I'll fight him, put me in coach.

If they would have stopped the fight at the TKO in the end of round 4 I would have been pretty impressed by DKs performance. Like you say in the video, you could see that he had improved his boxing since his match against Brad and losing to a guy like Manny is not something to be ashamed of. But the disgusting behaviour of the refere and DK himself in the last to rounds ruined all of that... Shame on you DK!

Hey, you are a kind individual, and you speak honestly. You don't need to even acknowledge people who are throwing out accusations saying you're racist because you don't like DK Yoo's bad show of sportsmanship in the ring. It's clear if anyone had even a small amount of fighting experience, how DK is just in these fights to make himself look good and always try to put the blame on the other fighters. I don't think he will ever become humbled because of how stubborn he is.

Insane. I would love the opportunity to go a few rounds with Pacquiao. That's such an honour. I'd 100% be getting knocked about but man I'd be talking about that until kingdom come. For his part, at least the prep DK seems to have taken it a little more seriously than his last fight. But then to pull that "he hit me in the back of the head" against the legend is just disgraceful. If that clip you showed was on that punch, then even more so.

It's hard to tell, but I think he really thinks he's some kind of master. It makes me sad for him, but his attitude belays any sympathy I might've had. I went from having my behind handed to me on the regular, to being able to hold my own in most venues the hard way. I don't think DK has had a proper beating yet. Not just a loss, but the kind of beating that shatters ones whole world view. Every martial artist can benefit from at least one such fight. OR he's just a total fraud and huckster, in which case, I laugh at his failure... 😔

Indeed, mate. It happens to me on me first taste of the art of the eight limb in 1989. I though as a boxer who has been training since 9-year-old could take on an experience Muay Thai fighter. Until those low kicks, knees and elbow that gives me bruises in the face and 2 months worth of leg pain and stomach cramp(I couldn't even walk right after that fight for 2 months. Hell, that's not even a proper fight, it's a gym smack down with no audience. And the bloke go easy on me, like 20 percent power). A hard lesson, but a valuable one. And also that, lead me to 2 years of Training to transition from boxing to Muay Thai. Sometimes, you need to get beat up real bad to learn some humility. Now, looking back, I'm glad I got beat up mate

a comment i am getting tired of fight fans making is. "I respect anyone who enters the ring" or "it takes gutts to enter the ring" When this is just completely untrue even when against someone like Mani. First, if you were a real fighter, besides maybe those early days in your child hood years. You never really ever experienced "fight fear" maybe you experience "competition anxiety". But when it comes to us fighters, we LOVE fighting, we love getting hit and we love giving hits. We love that thrill of getting punches in the face then coming back with everything we got. So the whole "it takes gutts to enter the ring" i never understood. Like what gutts? this is something I love doing and always will, this is as natural to me as it is breathing. And I know its the same for most fighters. So please stop saying "it takes guts to enter the ring" for fear was something I never felt, it doesn't take guts for me to do something I LOVE. Secondly people saying things like "it takes gutts to go against Manny?" like what, lol, it's fucking Manny in his retirement in an expedition match so he wont even be going all out. This is nothing more than a high-intensity sparring match. This is a HONOR that a piece of shit like DK yoo does not deserve. Fighters of high level sometimes say things like. "you gotta EARN the right to fight me". And I full heartedly agree with it, you don't get to be a nobody and just instantly climb your way to fight the champ, you have no right to even be in the same ring as the champ let alone fight him. So this is a PRIVELAGE that DK yoo frankly does not deserve at all. Just my thoughts on this

No, it doesnt suck at all. It's just the reality. This is a great lesson. DK Yoo just lacks experience fighting stronger pro athletes. He DID last 6 rounds and didnt quit which should be a + factor to say the least and losing to an 8 weight division world champion is not shameful at all. Manny is getting older but he still got it. All he fought before Pacquiao was non resisting guys on helmets who allow themselves to get ragdolled by him. Actualization and sparring with resisting, and freestyle thinking professional athletes makes you a better fighter.
