Two-State solution? If I am indigenous Palestinian, I'm saying HELL NO to a Two-State solution. WHY? Imagine you and your family are living in a home that's been passed down to you from your foreparents from multiple generations. And then the mayor and governor of your city and state decide to offer you a two-family solution for your home and forcibly move a homeless family into your residence and force you and your family to the basement of the home that's been in your family for generations. Then with the backing of the mayor and governor, the homeless family now dictates how the premises will be shared and determine the movements of your family in the home. The homeless family controls how much water, food, and electricity your family consumes, what restrooms you can use, what time of day you can move around, place guards in the home to check your paperwork and enforce compliance to the new home rules...etc. I could go on, but I think you get the point...no one in their right mind would see a two-family solution as a solution...it's more of an intrusion and/or occupation than a solution. And it would not take long before the original homeowners decide to either burn the house down or forcibly remove the new people.

For those who are young or unaware, 30 years ago Israel had a prime minister named Yitzhak Rabin. Rabin was a former Israeli general who had dedicated much of his life to war and destruction. But in his old age he had decided peace was the answer. He and Yasser Arafat of Palestine had serious disagreements, but for the first time were able to shake hands and at least learn to trust each other. Negotiations were on the table. In Israel, many on the far right were angry with Rabin for his willingness to compromise with Arafat and give up parts of the Gaza Strip. Not the least of whom was Benjamin Netanyahu. His firey speeches helped create the mood that led a 25 year old law student to assassinate Yitzhak Rabin. The hard right nationalists responsible for his murder are the ones who govern Israel today. Damn Netanyahu to hell.
