Same comment from me. This is really the only major feature that seems to be missing in my opinion. Also the reason why I have an android device so I can run Gaia for this function. I'd be thrilled if they add the ability to record tracks to DMD2.

wow, this thing is amazing. I can't believe it but I plan to buy one soon. Blows my mind I'm going to spend this much, I plan to buy the tablet and mounting brackets setup, but I am not willing to run something off my phone and this just beats the crap out of xt2 from my research. May I ask if any sales are planned for the American market soon? I could really use one...

Looks like a great piece of software. What I would like to see however is, how to navigate from A to B using different roads types. Can I define a certain off road % of the total trip and can I define which kind of off road "roads" (see the map egend on you website) I want to use or avoid. Many thanks Klaus

I'm discovering the application. I haven't mastered it yet. A question. How do I create waipoints in the track? I am referring to points that I want the track to appear. Is it possible to create them manually?

You've done a really brilliant job with this. I just recieved my first device with DMD2 yesterday. I do have a couple of comments and questions - 1. My version, after updating, does not have the "mixed" routing option. But off-road has several difficulty options. Has this replaced the mixed profile? 2. Several local favorite restaurants are missing from the POIs. They are well known establishments that have been around for many years and appear on other nav software. What is the POI data source for DMD2? I am in the USA. 3. Maybe most importantly, I cannot find any way to record a new track. This is one of my most used features when I am exploring new areas to see where I have been riding - offroad in particular - and later create more tailored tracks based on this information. Is that feature in development?

I dont have the option avoid unpaved roads how can this be??, also if i start a gpx it only connects the waypoints with straight lines it does not calculate the route over the roads how do I fix this. Also if i want to start a gpx i need to be standing still in the middle of the road at the exact spot if im a few meters of it want to navigate me to the start and than the left box starts working for the gpx but the lines are right through meadows. Why doesnt it take the road??

Dear Sir I have watched your video and I thank you for this wonderful work. I have myself due Carpe ITER with DMD2 installed with its beta version. I've just done a 1500 km OffRoad (mixed) trip through France and I didn't manage to use the GPS guidance feature at all. In fact, I downloaded a GOX file containing around fifty tracks. When I select a mixed track (OffRoad + Road), the GPS guidance doesn't work when I leave the road. I could send you the GPX file I use! In short, could you please explain to me what the problem is, as I'm very frustrated not to have been able to use my CARPE ITER during my trip. Best regards Jean

Hi, i have the android version , totally different from the one you are showing in the video. When i hit navigate, it makes me choose other nav apps like google maps. The full navigation work only on Thork products or am I doing something wrong?

Hi everyone Right now in Abanian on a Offroad trip. Using DMD2 for almost 2 years now, I’ve notice a bug related to get the distance between 2 points on track. This is described at 7:24 minutes of the vidéo. Everything works Nice if I’m on the track, but if not, then DMD2 crash. Has someone notice the same effect ?

Nop, that should not happen, ever. And we see no crash logs about the off-track crash that you report. Does that happen while following a GPX track? Can you please email details to [e-mail] so we can look into it?

Hi, is there an option to measure upfront the distance and travel-time of a track or between tracks? This in regards of planning upfront for hotels etc. For example, I selected the distance points within a track of 218.3 Km and the travel time is 60:37. So I go 218km per hour? Krgds Ray
