Play since FIFA 06 and scripting was always a thing since FIFA 13 but we just speculated at that time. Everything got worse since FIFA 20 and i am real if i say that EA FC 24 have like nothing to do w skill anymore. The game decides who win not the skill. How could it be that i know in so many situations (10-20 seconds before it happens) that i will score or concede a goal. I’ve also always been talking abt the game being scripted but in ea 24 it’s literally impossible to win sometimes and this happens a lot. last fifa I was a consistent 16 champs wins, division 3/4 player and never had difficulty to qualify for champs but in ea 24 the first time I tried to qualify I couldn’t even get the 4 wins and I find myself in bad situations against rly bad players, sometimes I cant even take the ball from the other dudes feet or I make 30 shots on goal and dont score a single one and the guy makes a shitty trivela with frimpong and it goes in

One thing is too noticeable when the bad gameplay occurs is player switching. You literally can't switch to the player who stand in front of the opponents, leaving them unmarked and conceded easy goal. That's frustrating tho.

It’s actually ridiculous , as you can do it over and over again, it just switches back and allows the opponent to go in on gaol.

Literally happened to me today. Was up 4-1 at HT and my players just stopped responding to right stick switching and 2nd man press. Which resulted in my opponent walking past VVD and Blanc. He scored 3 goals and it felt like I couldn’t do anything to stop it. I won 6-4 but i should never be in that situation in the first place.

This is one of those guys who make proper sense in his videos. EA is giving us the same game for ages now. Scripting exists but in the form of randomness and inconsistency. If you are winning there is a possibility that EA is trying their best to drag the other guy down. This is done to keep newer folks in the game. How many times have you all lost to an all gold cards team where the 82 rated striker plays like an R9. Yeah, you get the point.

With that passing example, the "good" one the guy had hit the pass button before it got to his player so he tries to make the pass as fast as possible where in as your video you tried to dribble and then pass.

The best thing you can do for bad gameplay is to go into your games list, pull up options tab for ea fc and click uninstall. I did this yesterday and since then ive had no problems whatsoever. Playing this game on a daily basis makes zero sense and you can do so much more better things with your time. I wish you all a happy new year

Can confirm this as the best solution! I uninstalled in November already and will not touch this or any EA game again. The inconsistent input delay has been there since FIFA 18 or so. No focus on that whatsoever from EA, but at the same time year after year they’ve made content more expensive and hard to get in Ultimate Team. Enough is enough.

I remember back in fifa 17 when inception FC got some traction behind this he was told he was crazy and KZbinrs such as Nepenthez and AJ3 said that “it’s all in your head”. It quite literally isn’t, I knew I wasn’t going mad when some days my players felt like trucks and some days I could actually move them. The reason why a lot of people don't experience inconsistent gameplay is, because 10-30% of all created accounts are, for the lack of a better term, unlocked. It's similar to alpha accounts, the only difference is that alpha accounts have unlimited amount of coins and points. EA literally wants their customers to feel as confused as possible. One example I can give you, when you're talking to their customer support about having inconsistent gameplay, lags and so on, they will always tell you "Oh, have you checked your internet connection, or are you using lan cable or wireless?" They will always blame you, your internet connection/provider, literally anything, confusing you even further. They have never addressed the issues with inconsistent gameplay, because it is a mechanic that EA has intentionally built in to confuse the players. They hate self confident non-pro (casual) players. Balls that go through body parts, like through the leg, feet, etc. is also a mechanic, intentionally implemented into the game. One of the chief designers admitted that two or three years ago. Have you ever experienced jitter during a match? I bet you have. The jitter effect occurs when the dynamic difficulty algorithm has been "activated". Perks, playstyles, archetypes, is part of the DDA's implemented into the game and EA doesn't even hide it anymore. Compare the source code that was leaked a few years ago, with the descriptions of each playstyle. Momentum and some playstyles, the only difference is momentum is a hidden DDA and playstyle is not. I could go on and on, but that's enough for now 😅😉

Way better than mine, but he rage quited after the second goal, cause his players couldn't even touch the ball properly. I was not even happy after winning.

Im an older gamer and have had the misfortune of playing Fifa since 08. I can tell you that the game changed around fifa 13 and got progressively worse. Most times the result is determined, im sure you have all had it when you batter someone only for thier AI defenders to block shots, keepers save everything and your passes and shots seem delayed. Only for your opponent to hump a hopeful ball long which your defender has covered but inexplicably he slows down and his player nicks the ball to score in the 89th minute. And i recognise (unlike toxic players) when its in my favour too. A lot of the bad and inconsistent gameplay and bs is there to aid lesser players win more games against the better player in order to maintain their interest in the game. Ea is only interested in increasing revenue and intentionally manipulate gameplay, nothing will change until they are challenged (as they were back in the pro evo 6 days) by a football game that lowers their gamer base.

I predicted the downfall of the Fifa series after they FORCED MANUAL defending. AKA TACTICAL DEFENDING in FIfa 12. They didn't implement this new manual defending. They forced all players to use it Online. And this was the beginning of the end. Why ? Because they never FORCED MANUAL attacking. AKA MANUAL passing. MANUAL shooting. MANUAL crossing, etc..... This is why the Gameplay got worse and worse thru the years. You can't have MANUAL defending with AUTO attacking controls. This is the key reason why the Game is AWFUL now. Pros play on their own specific server, one of them messed up and he had a separate menu on fifa where he could literally choose his server he connected to. The list was Amsterdam, France, Germans, London and Irish servers. When people mentioned it he refused to comment about it. In a nutshell pros/content creators don’t play on generic servers hence why their gameplay is amazing most of the time and they can cook 20-0 with relative ease

Funny you mention CAREER MODE for this. On Legendary outside Career mode the game is balanced. But in Career Mode Legendary difficulty is RIDICULOUS. The AI is Super Human. Your players dont run, stuck in mud, slow, NPCs, etc. Its that bad.

One more BIG issue you forgot to mention is invisible shild around ball or around opponent attackers , when ea decides you get bad gameplay . It's so frustrating sometimes, I have videos of that ,where my defender run around the opponent lost ball feels like ea forcing away from it.

Fix? I think you get it wrong. This is how they intend it to be .they don't want skilled player to stomp casual/less skilled one. Dda/ scipt are here for a reason. Because casual / less skilled one always be majority of players and skilled one always be minority. I think the game itself give you a secret unspoken msg though dda/scipt that "leave the game , you already beat it and too good to play with them without handicap" like they don't want shark to be same tank as other fishs. The game make casual / teen players feel good about themselves while the game provide handicap and make them believe so ( which is why they never accept existence of dda/scipt in online mode for the sake of make believe) skilled one are the one they don't need in this cycle. They just not say it out loud. Majority market always bigger than minor one.

I confirm it's not a net issue: I've stopped playing online because of these inconsistencies and I have the same issues in kick offs (worse: there's a nearly 1 sec delay after your sprint input which I didn't see in any other modes). It's amazing how I feel about all the issues you talk about. And I only play offline to have fun in my career, or at least I try even though I uninstalled the game yesterday. What you call Tippy taps are a shame probably due to this new hyper motion with all 11,000 recorded animations. It very often happens that players touch the ball with little force and it remains not in front of their feet but in the middle, slowing down any movement or play you want to make. Normally the management of the space between the players and the ball they are controlling with their feet is something that should happen, largely automatically, with this new motion system it often happens that contact, control, direction of the ball, the speed with which this happens and the space needed for each player to move naturally with the ball is never right, natural or up to the task and players often end up having to make extra touches to try to follow your commands and also correct inadequate contact with the ball, terribly slowing down your idea of the game. Hyper motion has messed up the gameplay so much that even making a tackle is a miracle, with the fact that it happens a billion times that you want to take the ball away from an opponent or make a foul with a standing tackle and see the joints of your player deforming and flexing on the opponent's legs, registering a "sliding" of the body segments over each other without any effective blow that causes a fall, a tackle, a foul. Thanks for talking about the missing inputs during the switch. You're one of the few who actually talks about the REAL problems with this game. Maybe thanks to the fact that we are talking about tangible problems, this game will have time to become decent before the release of EA FC 25, although I doubt it. EA will certainly already be working on next year's game

This inconsistency is just unacceptable. Last weekend I’ve had great gameplay during the whole weekend league. Even when I’ve lost I didn’t complain cause I knew where/when I committed mistakes. I didn’t had to rage at stupid bounces/bs goals ( ofc they happened but they were at acceptable level ) Then, just one week later I’m playing different game… no movement from my players/quad tackle tax etc ( my favorite is ball going through players legs when you are cutting passing lanes correctly and then losing a goal 💪 ) Games should be something you enjoy and makes you feel good, but this THING is not an enjoyable game anymore. The worst part of this video is a fact that people like you believe if they gonna keep on talking about the issue EA will do something about it… but the harsh truth is that they won’t :( Main focus of EA FC 24 and the future titles from EA are Packs. Packs that cost as much as the game itself. We need to stop playing the game or accept our faith. Only significant loses in income will force EA to do something and actually listen to the community. As long we are complaining but at the same time we are playing the game, nothing will change. This Love/hate relationships we have with FIFA is something that they actually want and inconsistent gameplay might be the biggest factor to it. It thinks that this year game shows that you have to be a total fan boy/potato to enjoy football from EA… or you have to start to play like pro and become a bot/npc that plays boring stuff but generates results. Mark my words, and I hope my comment will be read by players i think "inconsistent Gameplay" and "DDA" are the same thing. The correct 'simple' name is " IA Difficulty" Do the test : Go in squad battle with a formation and team you like. Play a good amount of games and destroy the IA set on a low difficulty. ( like semi-pro) You should have some easy patterns to cross the field and put decent goals, you should almost do them blinded. Now, launch a game but up the difficulty. Remember all the patern you used in the last 20 games ? Forget them because now for whatever reason your players cant perform shit on the field. This is because the IA difficulty have increase. That means the IA " controler" do better actions and decisions BUT more important, the whole IA ( which control every player on the field ) of BOTH teams have changed too. Imagine the difficulty ( beginner, semi pro, world class, legendary etc ... ) on a 1-8 rating where 1 is the lowest difficulty. It is a fictive scale. The less difficulty is set on your IA team, the worst they perform : bad runs, bad control, bad aiming, bad touches etc etc 8 will be the Best IA possible, the smoothest gameplay you will ever get And we will consider the "Default" IA level of a human player as 6 When you launch a squad battle on semi-pro difficulty, the game put your IA on 6 = default and the opponent on, let say, 4. You will crush them because you are not bad a the game. Now up the difficulty, and the game will set the opponent IA on 5 ... AND lower your IA on 5 too. So they will perform less good, but not drastically less good. For the human player, i think there is a limit in the amount of decrease you can get. Now how it can be possible in online game, human versus human. I think there are multiple factors : - first it's could be random at the start. Sometimes both players will stay on 6 difficulty for the IA. Sometimes one on 6, opponent on 5. etc - im pretty sure it's a bit influenced by the quality of your team to make the skill gap not so huge. I think this is real, I have a "decent OK" team, and almost EVERYTIME i face a random team with random gold players in it, i know i will suffer. So it's like the opponent IA got a bonus by having a worst team. I already had this impression on fifa 23, I still have in FC - There are momentum. The game might lower or up the difficulty on one side. We all know the 45 and 90 mark are real. - IA difficulty can change depending of the result of the game. This is how you can lost a game 2-1 with 20 shots on your side, versus 2 from the opponent, but with the same attackers and GK ..... Your IA is set to 4 when the opponent IA is up to 7. - this is why in majority of time, you will have the impression you play with bronze and opponent have 11 Messi in his team. It's because it's one sided. You will not see both IA set at 4 at the same time. It's allways UP on one side, LOWER the other and vice & versa. - The more meta your team is, the less you will feel these IA changes. You can lower the IA of Mbappe, he will still perform better than majority of others IA players. But lower the IA of an average ( aka the majority of the team of lambda players ) and suddenly you will feel the problem faster. In summary, there are no inconsistent gameplay, infact, it's a feature, it's how EA implemented their IA. It's bullshit, but it's why it wasnt fixed or even talked about by EA. Like they said, " It's in the game"

I just played a guy in div 3. I am div 1. I had 24 shots. 6.7 expected goals. He had 2 shots and 0.4 expected goals. He beat me 2-1. actually its the hypermotion that's affecting the responsiveness of the game, at this point fifa don't dare touch the net code because of big and messy its gotten however they add in new code to try and integrate the new stuff with the old stuff, if they tried to actually fix the core issues with the gameplay that would mean going back to the old code, which is the entire backbone of this whole game, sadly no one knows how long doin that would take and worst case scenario would end up with them having to throw away the old outdated code and rewriting the intire game, which in my opinion is kind of a tall order. Why are you making this video? EA is not going to listen. Consistent gameplay doesn't make them money, it instead requires money to be invested in the game. Addressing gameplay issues doesn't make them money. But their in-game gambling system makes them money. Maybe you should make a video about why the odds of getting Haaland/Mbappe cards should be decreased even further because of how easy it is to get those cards. The inconsistent gameplay is an intentional "feature". One sided input delay is another issue and both issues will never be solved if we continue to ignore what type of greedy company we are dealing with, it's as simple as that. Everybody's trying to fix the issues with a better internet connection or they change their provider or buy another router, but nothing does actually help. Have you ever tried to play over your mobile connection or the minimum requirements for playing online? Give it a try. There is a reason why EA don't want you to use mobile connections, because people would quickly realize that it had nothing to do with sh*tty servers or your internet connection. Why aren't you having the same issues playing other online games, like CoD, Bf for example?

Here’s why I think EA have done this on purpose. Key thing to remember is that they can literally fix the 71 depth glitch in a hot patch, but they haven’t. And won’t. Over that last id say 4-5 years Fifa has had a massive skill gap for good reason, they were going riding the hype of esports so they need to vet out the best players in the world to start building tournaments, Bringing more eyes to the game meaning more money. Now that they have this skill gap to find the best its effected everyone down to the casuals. Casual players are now finding themselves losing a lot more to someone who plays everyday and coming against crazy teams in the lower divs and no one likes to play to lose more than win so they either play offline modes or leave the game completely. Ultimate team being the real money maker takes a hit, only the players in between that skill gap that can still win games are buying packs essentially leaving the game in the state it in now. They need money (look at the amount store packs you can buy) and also need you to play (look at the amount of games you need to play to complete objectives for pack and high rated evo eg. Llorente) all to show investors we are playing and spending. Now they have these ways of reducing the skill gap via input delay, slow players, truck turning. 71 depth etc so the casuals can come back in pack some decent players and win some games bringing more money back to UT. dude i deal with this way more often than i don't. i'd say 75-80% of my games are in mud. like to the point i have completely changed my playstyle bc i know that my f****ing skill moves will NOT come off as they either are completely ignored or do a different skill move. it ruins the game for me. i lose so often to players that are ass bc i'm playing w/ such horrendous lag even though im on gigabit wired connection. dude it's seriously infuriating. i play with not only the gamepad visible on screen but the option with the 2 gamepads so you can see when your input is read by the ps5 itself and the other showing when the game reads it. just so i can go back and see what my inputs were when i KNOW i hit something but its ignored by the game... dude if you want clips of some crazy poor gameplay examples lmk. i got you. with the gamepad onscreen to compare to what happens in game.

I noticed from the jump p how player switches is atrocious in this game. Every time I try switching to a defender to hopefully stop the attacker, it freezes my defender for a second and the defender next moves a bit and is stunted so in the end my opponents striker just breezes by my defender.

The ms depends how far from ea searvers you , live, ex: if you live in germany where the servers are you will have 7-9 ms if you live in Romania you will have 28 ms in game .like 2000 km 20 ms plus
