Now for the very hard part. to be able to withstand such long term pressure on the shoulder, it means his trained his shoulders precisely, to be able to constantly use the jab in such different ways. his stamina is another thing that you need to be able to box the way he does, his ability to know exactly when to reserve energy and when to put more force into his punches and lastly he has an amazing ability to always finish off rounds in a winning fashion, which is more a psychological thing for the opponents and judges. every time ive seen an opponent maybe changing the tide of a round he returns it with superior combinations, as if instead of concerning him it wakes him up and he wins the exchange in the end. easily my favorite boxer right now. incredible man too with how he carries himself. emotions completely under control!

@@dundee1080 spot on. That’s exactly what dedication to the sport gives you. Makes me laugh when all these people think they can just “be like “ these guys. Most fighters ability comes from their natural fighting way. Then years of drilling gives you the fighters they are today.

Its not "his" style, its so called "soviet school of boxing" in perfect form.
@satyaartidicit10182 жыл бұрын
All of the things he does are based on pitch-perfect fundamentals. Bivol’s movement is just flawless, he just has to wait for his opponents to make a mistake. Always a good stable base, feet never on the same line, never overcommits or leans beyond his lead toes for an attack, always keeps the perfect distance for his preferred range - or adjusts his arsenal when aggressive fighters close in. And then on that rock solid base he also adds on his feints and footwork, and all the other advanced techniques and variations analyzed here, and everyone crumbles against him. Truly a master of the craft. He’s hands down my favorite fighter to watch right now, poetry in motion. Amazing analysis coach!

This video is great. I watch it every day before training. I’m a Muay Thai practitioner with a lot of boxing in my game and style. The way he bounces from front foot to back foot is very reminiscent of that in Muay Thai. I try to use all these techniques but in sparring I focus on one thing from this video and try to do it in the whole round.
