I actually went +1 in the front on my factory, making the ratio closer to the base model, since I wanted the bike to be more 'street-able'. Not saying it's for everyone but an added benefit of the mod was improved MPG.

Ah I never thought of gear ratios to improve MPG on the tuono but have played a little in the past with them. I've just accepted the fuel usage and moved on but wanted to highlight it to youtube that you will use a lot of fuel but i'm not complaining, I knew it would. There is lots of flex with such a strong engine so this is quite an interesting approach and one I may look at. Thanks foe suggesting.

@@DMRides anytime. Funny thing is that with my prior bikes, including an RSV4 RR, I've always made the stock gear ratio more aggressive to be in that street-able torque/rev sweet spot (for my taste). The Tuono factory was the only instance I went in the opposite direction likely because of its larger displacement, immense mid range torque, and lower rev limiter when compared to sport bikes. Anyway, good luck and ride safe!

I'll most likely get myself one in a few months. The tuono is an animal, it gaps sportsbikes up to 150mph

Hi, I highly recommend the bike. I love it.

@@DMRides Good thing they're dirt cheap. Good for buyers bad for sellers haha.

@@KZbinDeletedmyF.B.Iaccount only advice is make sure you get a exhaust to really bring out the V4 sound. The stock one isnt bad but i really noticed a different why the dealer de-cat it and put the pipe on

@@DMRides im either going with sc project or austin racing gp1r. They sound so good.

@@KZbinDeletedmyF.B.Iaccount to be honest I havent heard them on a tuono but they are very good exhausts. I heard a austin racing on on a superduke yesterday and it was glorious 🙂

Just bought a 24 Tuono, weather means hardly been out yet. Getting the winter mods done atm…..Which mirrors have you got? I have a narrow gap to get to my garage, are those mirrors foldable/adjustable - or do I have to get the spanner’s out?
@DMRides8 күн бұрын
@@wl660 I’ve done another review on the mirrors when they was attached to my Superduke on my channel. They are CRG arrow I think and they do fold upwards but not in

How many miles do you get from full tank to light coming on? I’m getting under 100 on my 21 tuono.
@DMRides15 күн бұрын
I’m using premium unleaded 99 octane and I can get 120 if I’m fairly sensible. I noticed a big difference between that and 95 octane
@iamthemobey15 күн бұрын
@ I always use premium too. But I struggle to get 100 before the light comes on. Normally closer to 80! But when I come to pull up it’s normally only about 13L and I think the tank is 17.5. I’m thinking the fuel light is a bit premature on the new tuonos. I’ve heard the old tuono has about 15-20 miles left in the tank once the light came on!
@DMRides10 күн бұрын
No it’s 100% premature. I’ve had another 20 miles with the light on on this version but even then I was getting a but twitchy bum time.

I’d say listening to your accent that Rochdale must be closer to you than Sheffield? Unless you’re not actually from somewhere around the Liverpool area?
@DMRides15 күн бұрын
@@ShalomBrother you are correct but I got the bike from Sheffield just before the Rochdale dealer opened, I’ve just kept going back to Sheffield as it’s a nice ride over and plenty to do whilst I wait for the service to be completed.

Try cleaning with iso alcohol following clear leather balm.
