Hi David. Glad to see, you didn’t give up. And congrats for this cool run.👏 Also thanks for the image of the valve timing. I’m absolutely with you. It looks pretty perfect. And as I also mentioned about the OS F plug, I was happy to see this engine running so fine with it. That’s quite the same as I experienced with my Webra T4-40 engine in the past. 👍

Runs really good on #8 plug to be a 4 stroke, the best performance in a 4 stroke with a #8 plug i ever seen!

Honestly this engine isn’t like a four stroke though. I thought it ran best with the F plug

Excuse me, I'm relatively new to the hobby and I'd like to know how to get started? For example all the equipment I'll need and how to set everything up pre and post run? Thanks!

First off, welcome to the hobby. There are forums such as RCUniverse and RCGroups with threads and sections to assist you. That is not the function of this channel nor something I have the time to engage in.

I was kinda worried that without the cover the belt would slip off the cam pulley. Or is it valve pulley for this engine? :D

There is no force in a direction to make the belt come off the gear. The cover is simply to prevent debris from fouling the belt and gear. There are no valves or cams in this engine. Read the linked review article for a full description of this design.

Are there any NOS timing belts around for these engines?

Would NOS be fine to run? Or would they be hard? Are new belts available?

Very doubtful you will find replacement belts for these engines
