The best thing about this over the first one is that this gives you the idea that you can make a subclass for ANY God for any class and still give it flavor and keep true to the base class. This is even better overall than the first for the simple fact that it offers a lot of versatility!

I adore the Halfling pantheon. Wholesome comes to mind. As one of my friends put it, Yondalla is like a grandmother who cooks filling dinners and insists you eat as many snacks as possible until a few goblins show up at the door. Then shield in one hand she leaps over the table, dispatches them, then grabs your cheek and asks why you haven’t gotten married yet :) The others, her “Children” are just as entertaining too. Love of nature, hospitality, trickery and cleverness: each embodied by a lovable god. Even their war (technically defense) god is almost a trickster, and their death god is a lot more approachable than Jergal or Kelemvor.

This manual look like the old Demihuman Deities, companion of Faiths and Avathars for AD&D. If the quality is the same, it' a great book!

I'm going to have to take a look at Yondalla. I once put together a LG Hafling Warlock of the Archfey using Yondalla as her patron. She refused to use Eldrich Blast purely because someone said, "You can't play a 5e warlock without EB." So, I did, and I also made her sage as a background and took the warlock ability that gave you extra spells in other classes...where she took them from the Druids who raised her. Later they added Celestial Warlocks and she wasn't as cool.

My only complaint is that there isn't more options to give the other classes, but that's a slight nitpick. I can understand why there isn't options for all of the classes.
