4:30 "Love's a bitch for sure. But if you feel like it at any point though, you know, pick a tempo." Devin just straight out trolling his own audience.

Also the fact the Dev looks back at Ryan (the drummer) when the audiences looses the beat..."maybe give them a pointer"....and then even tries to nod the beat and the audience still is all over the place.

Devin Townsend IMO is the most underrated vocalist combo guitarist or singer songwriter in the history of metal. Going back to his early days with Steve Vai, to Strapping Young Lad, and currently with his solo project this guy just is amazing but for some reason he didn't become bigger than he currently is in metal. Plus he is much more then a metal musician as well. He can do it all.

Devin is awesome. And what's even more amazing is this whole concert he was getting over being sick with flu/bronchitis and hated the way his voice sounded

There's an incredible live version Devin did during his Retinal Circus concert with the DTP and original Strapping guitarist Jed Simon. Video is " Devin Townsend - Detox en vivo " on YT. Loved you reaction video. It made me smile. The venue in the Royal Albert Hall is divided in two parts. The first part is the Ziltoid musical which is amazing to say the least. If you love the music of Devin Townsend as much as I do this is something you have to watch. The song Deadhead was recorded in the second part of the concert where they played songs from Devin's long standing career. Another good watch is the "Retinal Circus". Another great musical. You won't be disappointed. First time I heard Devin singing was in 1993 on Steve Vai's third Album "Sex and Religion" I never lost track of him since I heard that record. I'm listening to his music for 30 years and I'm still getting chills and shivers running down my spine. Never tired of listening to his music. Keep up the great work. My best wishes to you.

If you listen to Devin’s older music and hear him sing the older songs now, he has literally gotten better over time. That’s not how it usually goes for vocalists. Most decline due to not properly caring for their throat and vocal chords.
