Joyner is definitely underrated currently - and is it good to know that DMX influenced and mentored him
@aurochsbeatsАй бұрын
Joyner is a real one. He's made conscious songs, made hard hitting songs, called out the snakes in the industry, he's been homies with one of his idols DMX, made music with one of his idols Eminem, squashed beef with Logic and made a track with him, and is currently ghost writing for alot of people and keeping to his private life. He been quiet cuz he got a family and doesn't have shit to prove, he is lyrically better than most of this industry (thats why people like Eminem respect him) . I ain't even glazing, shits just the truth. Nevertheless, he is still kind of slept on, but I can definitely see him growing even more and possibly making music with more goats like Cole and Wayne.

I think it was Ross Capicchioni (sp?) that made me a fan and then I went down that worm hole and discovered the freestyles over beats and dissing and whatnot. I had no idea he was close to or a fan of DMX like that. Most of the rappers between the ages 36-39 will say wayne, em, and jay-z, 50 and maybe 3 stack. You don't hear too many people say DMX, Jadakiss or them other monsters in that 98-2002 era. This was dope to hear. I'll probably check the whole podcast out at work tomorrow.
